According to the latest numbers, the Falcons have a salary cap number of 103.8M. This includes WAR, RGGR and Antone Smith but not Tony G. Considering the 2013 Cap limit has been set at 123M, that...

Week 12: Falcons vs Bucs - Film Review

A lot of people were of the opinion that the Ronde Barber pick yesterday was because Ryan was staring down Tony Gonzales. I wasn’t so sure, so I decided to go back and look at the film and I ended...

Thoughts after a sobering win

I expected the Falcons to go 15-1 in the regular season and win at least one playoff game. I need to re-adjust my expectations for the 2012 Falcons. There are a lot of flaws on this team and...

Matt Ryan is very, very clutch

+

The numbers are a week old but its still a nice reminder that Matt Ryan has been consistently and well above averagely(?) clutch this year. On a related note, Matt Ryan still doesn't have "it".

Three thoughts after a heartbreaking loss

As odd as this sounds, the Falcons played a good game. In the 3rd quarter when the Saints went up by 11, it looked like we were about to get blown out again but the Falcons fought back and put...

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. - Lauding the Forgotten Heroes of Week 8

Have you seen this? Film Study of Panthers' 7 sacks

+

I'm not sure I agree with the assessment of sack 5 but otherwise its a decent job. On a related note, does anyone have a video of the JJ incompletion out of bounds? Or the extended video of the last minute bomb to Roddy? Im doing a little research about Matt Ryan's improvement this season and want to have a look at these plays, specifically how good was the throw to JJ where he (barely) stepped out of bounds. And on the Roddy bomb was Julio open when Matt made the throw (he was when the ball was in the air).

What would you like the Hawks Core to look like in 2013-14?
