OU LB Austin Box passes away
First, wow. I saw the news from C&C Machine that he was found unresponsive.
Now, to find out he's dead at 22. My condolences to the Box family and friends. No matter the rivalry, we can all sympathize.
TJ Ford doing UT proud
Just wanted to see if there were other people watching Game 2 of the Pacers/Bulls game. TJ Ford had a great 3 quarter (had to replace Darren Collison), and hit a LOOONG 3 pointer to end the quarter. Hook 'em!
Kindle arrested for DWI....
.....again. ugh!
Pittman's brother shot
I was watching the NBA Draft combine on ESPNU, and just saw that Pittman had to leave. Sad, sad news. Best wishes to their family.

Brown dealing with personal loss
I didn't see it posted anywhere, but here's a story covering Coach Brown's loss of his mother
Question
Can GoBr post up an breakdown of the play where OU had a 5! on 1 fast break. Maybe titled "Anatomy of Poor Effort" if we lose this game? Very frustrating, and I've never seen anything like it. Hook 'em!
Les Miles is a Liar
I guess this is what happens when your lucky streak ends.
Comedian Greg Wilson FINALLY comes up w/ OU's own hand sign! They should be jumping for joy, and stop using ours. :)
Fragile Fozzy out
He's out for this game, hopefully Monroe or Newton can contribute
During middle school, I liked Pokemon, and when I first saw his name, I thought of Machamp, so I did my first work w/ MS Paint to create this. It's no PB, but it'll do. If anyone wants to fix it, be my guest
SI looks at rookies camp
Young released
Not to scare anyone w/ the surname, but it's Selvin Young. Hope he can catch on to a team.
Sore "Winners"?
I was sitting in class, and I kept hearing this plane noise. I get out of class and look outside and what do I see? A plane w/ a banner that reads "HEY MACK, QUIT WHINING U KNEW THE RULES." Is there a way that ou can be a sore "winner" even if they lost 45-35?
GameDay Experience (Mizzou)
Hi guys (and gals),
I just wanted to share a few pics w/ yall since I attended the last GameDay here against Mizzou. I know some have been mentioned, but some haven't. Pictures always look better anyway.
Grossman signs w/ Pirates
Robbie Grossman, a UT baseball commit, decided to skip college and sign with the Pittsburgh Pirates after being drafted in the 6th round. sigh
Longhorn coach kicked out of USC football practice
Looks like someone is still sore about Jan. 4, 2006
"Top 10 college football teams of the past decade"--Fox Sports
Texas comes in at #2 behind Boise State. miamimitch.com at Bleacher Report has this snarky piece: "What this shows us is that while Texas looks great on paper especially against lesser foes, they seldom bring it to the table when it's time to lay their chips down."
The A-11 Formation
This gimmicky formation could be the solution to our problems. I would like to see Beergut's breakdown of this, and see if anyone else has seen something like this
76ers order a Royal Ivey with Cheese
Former Longhorn Royal Ivey signed a multi-year deal with the Sixers. Hope he can be a mainstay on their team.
"Report: Childress leaves Hawks for Euro mega-deal"
Is this a good thing? Is this the start of a new trend?

The Texas Premier Football Camp...Revisited
So I was reading The Daily Texan today, and I obviously read the Sports page. And what do I find? I see Roy Williams with his wide receiver buddies, BJ Johnson, and Sloan Thomas. I think to myself, wait a minute. Didn't Roy's agents say he wasn't going to attend the Texas Premier Football Camp?
My question is, how the hell do BOTH of your agents say one thing, while Roy does what they say he won't? I'm confused...
oh..and maybe oldshool2 wasn't a plant (look at the comments made)
IU Recruit allowed to explore options w/ TX on list
I'm going to keep this short and allow ya'll to head to the link to check it out for yourself. But according to Fox Sports, Devin Ebanks, ranked No. 13 in the country by Scout.com, is considering Texas as one of the schools he'll attend. He was allowed out of his letter-of-intent after Sampson was fired. My question is how does this affect our recruiting of other players, and do we have room for him?
