My humble opinions from observing the OKC-Blazer game in person follow:

Argh. That was a tough game to sit through.

Throughout the entire game, it felt like we never established offensive continuity. The scoreboard and our field goal %'s say as much. Everything was really forced and it seemed like we had a lot of trouble getting into our sets and executing them.

I'd say the biggest observable reason we lost this game was our inability to get LMA the ball. Only 10 attempts is really inexcusable. They tried to get to him time and time again but OKC did a great job of fronting and preventing the entry pass. Even with OKC denying the ball, our guards/forwards STILL tried to force feed with bad passes, causing turnovers and fastbreaks. It was ugly.

The worst part was watching the Blazers run the same sets and watching OKC defend it the same way. Only a few times in the game did they go Hi-Lo, which was sometimes there, sometimes not. I put a lot of this loss on the coaching staff for not finding a way to get the ball to our best player.

Guard play. omg omg omg. I was screaming at my female friend alll game long about how poor the guard play was. It was painful tonight. Steve Blake brickin it,  JBay brickin it, Martell brickin it, everyone turning it over. Same goes for Rudy. Only Andre Miller had some rhythm but it wasn't enough to overcome the tremendous suckitude of the rest of the team. We need Brandon back sooooo bad.

Dante Cunningham played a helluva game. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to him individually but whenever he was on the floor it seemed like our spacing and defense was better. He plays smartly and within himself, causing even the most pedestrian night to be a solid contribution off the bench.

I hate martell. I don't even care to elaborate or put my seething hatred into words. I just want him to retire already.

nicolas batum rocks, but it wasn't his night tonight. his shot was a little off and his defense was a little sloppy.

this team will need to play out of their minds to be competitive in whichever playoff matchup they draw.
