E.C.'s E'Twaun Moore: I knew I was going to play somewhere

9

E'Twaun Moore discusses the off-season. It reads like he is looking to play PG for us. He's looking to compete with Ish Smith to play behind Nelson: "Moore averaged 2.9 points in 38 regular-season games with the Celtics. His agent, Chicago-based Mark Bartelstein, says he'll be battling to be the backup point guard behind Jameer Nelson. 'He played the best of any guard in the (Las Vegas) summer league,' Bartelstein said."

Tony Taylor Jr. - PG

Tony Taylor Jr.'s agent says the Magic have Tony on their short-list for veteran's camp. Tony played college ball at George Washington University. "There are a few NBA teams that have Tony on their short list for veteran's camp, including the Knicks, Magic, Celtics, Heat, Pacers, and Lakers. There are also about half a dozen D-League teams that want him as their starting point guard." -BJ Bass, RBA Sports Thoughts?

Vaughn did not coach SA's Summer League game Friday

"Attention all Orlando folks: Jacque Vaughn is not coaching Spurs' summer leaguers today in Las Vegas. Make of it what you will." - Jeff McDonald via Twitter Could mean nothing, could mean he's meeting with the Devos Family soon, could mean he's been offered and has accepted the job as head coach of the Orlando Magic!

Jameer Nelson: A part of me was surprised to hear his name pop up in draft-day trade rumors, but the Magic have a huge payroll and he is a tradeable piece. His game has declined a bit since 2009, but he's still one of the better point guards in the league. Maybe a swap involving Odom and Nelson works for both teams.
