On Monday July 26, 2010 Jeremy Brigham and Peter Dante are hosting a Charity Golf Tournament at Pleasanton’s Callippe Preserve Golf Course. All proceeds raised from this terrific event will go toward local scholarships. The Believe in the Dream Foundation will be donating all proceeds to Chabot and Los Positas’ Scholarship Foundations along with Resh180’s Scholarship program.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the above under funded programs at Local Colleges. Believe In The Dream Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation Started by Jeremy Brigham and Peter Dante with the goal of providing donations for
children’s and young Adult’s needs. The Make A Difference Foundation Jeremy Brigham’s Solo Charitable organization has previously supported local childrens hospitals, Mentalk Health and research, NFL alumni caring for kids, City wellness challenge, etc.

The tournament will be four member team scramble. Each team is required to solicit a minimum $1,180.00 donation in order to participate. In addition to a game of golf, there will be food and prizes. Competitions include hole-in-one, closest to pin, and longest drive. The prizes include 2 Automobiles a 2010 BMW and a 2010 Honda.
Brigham, a former Oakland Raider, along with Dante, a Hollywood actor, have teamed up to give the young adults of our community an opportuntity to make their dreams come true. With school and program budgets being dramically cut in our state’s extended education system Brigham and Dante saw a need to give back. The Believe in the Dream Foundation is looking for: Corporate Sponsors, Hole Sponsors, Golf Groups, Raffle items and everyday Dream Makers to make this event a day where scholars can believe in their deams and achieve them!

This trade of Belinelli only saves towner money, what do the fans get out of it, I guarantee we will look back at the opportunity to sign sessions for peanuts as a major major failure to capitalize, look at it this way, we saved almost 2 million with Rocky trade, don't sign CJ... another 1.5 plus, another million or so bucks and we have Sessions, talk about a sweetener to any trade, if he did not work out for us we could trade him in a heartbeat... Riley GET IT DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides we could piss off Knickerbockers fans again and create a new rivalry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Golden State Of Mind Bosh looked at differently - slightly differently at least - would you renew season tickets if Bosh were to come to GSW?

I know this is probably not going to happen, but I do wonder what the infusion of Bosh into Golden State would do to season ticket sales and renewals. I am of particular belief that we should try and get Bosh, I would rather trade Monta, Wright and Crawford, but I am open to intermixing Crawford or Maggette, Wright or Randolph and Beans or Monta. But my real question is during this economic crisis we are in how would this affect your season ticket purchase decision? Maybe GSW head office reads GSOM on a regular basis and this might help them decide to throw around a few ideas with Toronto before the 21 hours and counting to trade deadline slips away, probably not, but hey bust a guys chops for dreaming why don't you.... Dang I will even throw in Marcus Williams

Would you buy season tickets if Bosh came to GSW?
Hell Yeah, and I don't have season tickets now

Hell Yeah, I would renew my season tickets only if Bosh comes though

Golden State Of Mind Marbury rehashed, with marbury talking buyout, warriors needing a REAL PG, should we?

So it is quite obvious we need a point guard, and doesn't look like there are many options out there, I know we have a quite divided bunch on this question so I thought we would see what a poll has to say, I think Starbury could be our answer for this year, it would certainly give us a quality Point Guard, Give him a chance to put up huge numbers and show he is really ready to turn over a new leaf and play again like an all star. what does GSOMers think?

Poll
Should we try and get marbury for league minimum or close to it?
Hell yes and in Golden State he earns Starbury nickname

Golden State Of Mind Warriors waive Kurz

Well, its official the warriors waived Rob Kurz today, that means at least for the time being that Anthony Morrow survived the cut, I really would have liked to see what Kurz had in a longer stint but am glad to keep Anthony Morrow, well this is our 15, lets see what they can do this wednesday, funny thing but I still believe, and I am really excited about all the young talent we have, this year will be entertaining...

Golden State Of Mind Marbury going to be waived, not to beat a dead horse... but?

So news out of New York has Stephon Marbury being waived before the start of the season, I know everyone thinks he is a cancer... but could he use a change of scenery like Jackson, could he have a couple good years left in him? I think he is a viable option if he could be had for vet minimum and maybe build in some performance clause bonuses into his contract for a kicker. Golden State has been great for Jackson, could it renew Marbury's career, I think it could, maybe? Besides the fact I will get slammed for this, and probably mods will take it off, Why not? what are our other options? Monta will not be 100% all season, hopefully he gets back to 85-90%, without monta we don't have a shot at making playoffs unless, maybe? Well, either something like Marbury or maybe Morrow, Randolph, Wright, Buike or someone else would have to step up and play at All-Star Caliber to make playoffs without a major player infusion. Baron was considered a cancer as well, look how that turned out, Marbury might look good in a Dubs Uni....

Monta out - a chance for Big Al to redeem himself....I have had a feeling TMNT would step up this year and I think this might give him extra opportunity, especially if he gets a chance to play PF instead of Center, I got a dollar says Big Al makes an impact this year if he isn't traded
