"Los Angeles Clippers guard Baron Davis sat out Saturday night against Houston because of a strained calf and a recurrence of stomach ulcers."

Oh Jamal Crawford, fans love you, your teammates love you, but the organization despises your talent. I love the part where Jamal says this is "The Golden State Jax(es)." Oh how true that is!

Ronny Turiaf is having a terrific first season as a Warrior, easily the team’s best defensive player (any position) and, of course, a crowd favorite.

Turiaf is a great shot-blocker and a very good man-to-man defender, and those two don’t always go hand in hand. Bottom line is he gives you a chance to disrupt the offensive game of the opposing team’s best big man every night.

He’s a captain, he’s playoff-tested, and he’s a positive influence on a team with a lot of young players who need to be positively influenced. He’s been a bright spot in a bad season.

That’s why it’s going to be so hard to see him go.

Warriors fans might have to start thinking that way.

Matt Barnes chooses Warriors Fans>Phoenix Fans

"It’s tough to say as stand here in Phoenix that another crowd is the best crowd in the NBA, but Golden State definitely has the best fans in the NBA. They are just into the game the whole time. They really rallied us a couple of times for some wins with just their enthusiasm and never-quit mentality."

Golden State Of Mind Warrior Fans Anonymous VENT

My mother and I were receiving condolences like someone (knock on wood) passed way. So just to take the emo out of ya'll , share the cynical yet sympathetic condolences you guys have received.
Here's my list:

  1. The Dean of my school stopped me while I was walking and asked, "Did you see them lose to Denver last night?" Then he chuckled in crazy way.
  2. This random dude just plain tapped me and said, " they broke my heart last night."
My mom's list is way better!
  1. Her carpool told her that her son didn't eat dinner and went straight to sleep. Her husband didn't talk to her all last night after the game.
  2. Human Resources dude called her twice to make sure she was okay.
  3. My aunt and my mother start cussing in tagalog b/c of the Warriors
  4. Her GM sends her and other managers an e-mail making sure my mom's okay
So what condolences and sypathetic messages did you receive today?

I don't know if anyone has seen this but what do you guys think? Better, worst, or doesn't even compare to Bosh's? Haha. Anyway, I think it's kind of clever. So anyway, go Baron, Al, Jax, Monta, and Beans! Vote for the Warriors today!

Golden State Of Mind Kenny Smith believes?

I know it's not too much of a rebuttal to his last statement on the 'Kenny "the hater" smith' diary, but he is basically repeating what everyone on GsOm is saying: We need Jax and we will continue to improve. I mean, these past games, the end scores have been pretty close.

Golden State Warriors: After making history last year as a No. 8 seed by upsetting the No. 1-seeded Mavs, the Warriors have struggled. Help, however, is around the corner. The addition of Stephen Jackson after he returns from suspension will aid Golden State tremendously.

The Warriors are not who they appear to be right now. As the season progresses, this team will continually improve and make a push toward the playoffs. When healthy, they have mismatches at every position except center. And despite the slow start, Baron Davis is still playing at last season's playoff level.

Golden State Of Mind Barnes' Injury Scare

Matt Barnes sat out the Thursday morning practice with a sore and swollen left foot. The team sent him into Honolulu to take X-rays before the evening session. The X-rays showed no break, and Barnes will remain under observation the next few days. Barnes said if this were the regular season, he would have played through the pain, but the team is erring on the side of caution. "It's just frustrating, the little stuff that holds you back," Barnes said. "But it's better to have it now than have it come up later in the season."

Golden State Of Mind RANDOM:Mark Cuban on "Dancing With Stars"

Out of spite i want to see some of his players hassle him while he's on the floor! I'm sorry but who really thinks this fool is gonna get past the first round? And what about Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather, Jr.? Will he be able to knock the competition? (so cliche)

Golden State Of Mind RANDOM:Baron Davis, Paul Pierce, Gilbert Arenas game

Is anyone going to be checking out their charity basketball game in L.A. this weekend? I know theres some memebers of GsOm that reside down there and I think it would be something sick to see. Stephen Jackson was there last year with his dreads and of course Jason Richardson was there supporting the foundations of Baron and Paul. Gilbert just joined this year.

    http://www.lastars.net/

For the Bay kids, not too late for you guys to plan a roadtrip and good substitution if you can't get decent seats at a Warrior game (like me). Ticketmaster had some good seats the last time I checked. Other Nba stars attended last year so theres bound to be some good ones this year.

Golden State Of Mind Warrior Girls: the Truth

This is from a good friend of mine:

I was the one who received phone calls from beautiful, talented, sweet girls crying out of devistation from being cut one by one... Susan really went out of her way to make sure each vet felt the pain of a mesy cut and got a little too much pleasure out of it to be regarded as a human being.
She really just wants young girls who don't know any better than to be treated as respectful people with standards and feelings (and taste). They will be too afraid to fight back and will just deal with the tears as they drive home in the middle of the night from practices and even most games. I hate to think they will have a season half as bad as ours.

Thank you so much for your interest and understanding in our situation.

So you guys , the conspiracy is true. But please be civil. Its not the actual PLAYERS just the entertainment.Just respect the new girls, the vet girls and the Warrior Organization

Golden State Of Mind RANDOM:Belinelli Jersey

It's now on sale as we speak. 50$ for a replica road jersey

    http://warriorsshop.stores.yahoo.net/gswar11250710.html

Is anyone thinking of copping it NOW before the season starts? I guess the Belinelli Lovefest continues. My anticipation for next season are getting higher and higer because of this guy. He does resemble Manu Ginobli but he has a better nose.

Golden State Of Mind Trade talks sending Garnett to Warriors heating up

Talks between Minnesota and Golden State about a trade that would send Kevin Garnett to the Bay Area are real and advanced, according to a person involved in the discussions. But it's too early to say whether No. 8 pick Brandan Wright, reigning "most improved player" Monta Ellis and an assortment of fat and/or expiring contracts will be enough.

    http://www.newsday.com/sports/printedition/ny-spberger085286277jul08,0,730237.column?coll=ny-sports- print

Who knows it may be another false alarm! But I'm still iffy cause KG is 31 and almost past his prime and he's going to be running with one of the youngest teams in the league. Whatever I guess I don't believe the hype.

Golden State Of Mind VOTE AND PASS ON! WARRIORS AS "BEST UPSET" at the 2007 ESPYS

    http://www.espn.go.com/espy2007/#/vote/

I think thats the right link. I'm mad Baron's dunk over AK 47 wasn't nominated for Best Moment but whatever. Let's make sure everyone and especially Dallas remembers the upset in the first round of the playoffs. I hope the whole team will be there if we win. GOLDENSTATEMIND SITE ADMINISTRATORS! Why aren't you guys advertising this? =) Pdiddy for Bdiddy

Golden State Of Mind Couldn't have said it better myself

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have to ship Jason Richardson - whose high-wire act was perfect for their system and thrilled crowds - to the Charlotte Bobcats for Brandan Wright, who is talented but has consistency and toughness issues. It was all for the money since the Warriors can't pay Baron Davis and J-Rich, but for fans that's a tough thing to deal with. Golden State was more exciting and better before the draft than after.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=dw-winnerslosers062807&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

I know this trade had to be done for the organization but as a fan it will always be seen as something that shouldn't have been done. At least not to Jrich.

Golden State Of Mind Cuban is such an Ass

I've always loathed Marc Cuban but this is just getting out of hand. To question one of the best events that ever happened in the bay and make Nellie, our savior, look like a joke is foul.
