Oh Jamal Crawford, fans love you, your teammates love you, but the organization despises your talent. I love the part where Jamal says this is "The Golden State Jax(es)." Oh how true that is!

Ronny Turiaf is having a terrific first season as a Warrior, easily the team’s best defensive player (any position) and, of course, a crowd favorite.

Turiaf is a great shot-blocker and a very good man-to-man defender, and those two don’t always go hand in hand. Bottom line is he gives you a chance to disrupt the offensive game of the opposing team’s best big man every night.

He’s a captain, he’s playoff-tested, and he’s a positive influence on a team with a lot of young players who need to be positively influenced. He’s been a bright spot in a bad season.

That’s why it’s going to be so hard to see him go.

Warriors fans might have to start thinking that way.

Matt Barnes chooses Warriors Fans>Phoenix Fans

"It’s tough to say as stand here in Phoenix that another crowd is the best crowd in the NBA, but Golden State definitely has the best fans in the NBA. They are just into the game the whole time. They really rallied us a couple of times for some wins with just their enthusiasm and never-quit mentality."

Warrior Fans Anonymous VENT

My mother and I were receiving condolences like someone (knock on wood) passed way. So just to take the emo out of ya'll , share the cynical yet sympathetic condolences you guys have received.
Here's my list:

  1. The Dean of my school stopped me while I was walking and asked, "Did you see them lose to Denver last night?" Then he chuckled in crazy way.
  2. This random dude just plain tapped me and said, " they broke my heart last night."
My mom's list is way better!
  1. Her carpool told her that her son didn't eat dinner and went straight to sleep. Her husband didn't talk to her all last night after the game.
  2. Human Resources dude called her twice to make sure she was okay.
  3. My aunt and my mother start cussing in tagalog b/c of the Warriors
  4. Her GM sends her and other managers an e-mail making sure my mom's okay
So what condolences and sypathetic messages did you receive today?

Warriors verson of Bosh's all-star campaign

</object>

I don't know if anyone has seen this but what do you guys think? Better, worst, or doesn't even compare to Bosh's? Haha. Anyway, I think it's kind of clever. So anyway, go Baron, Al, Jax, Monta, and Beans! Vote for the Warriors today!

Kenny Smith believes?

I know it's not too much of a rebuttal to his last statement on the 'Kenny "the hater" smith' diary, but he is basically repeating what everyone on GsOm is saying: We need Jax and we will continue to improve. I mean, these past games, the end scores have been pretty close.

Golden State Warriors: After making history last year as a No. 8 seed by upsetting the No. 1-seeded Mavs, the Warriors have struggled. Help, however, is around the corner. The addition of Stephen Jackson after he returns from suspension will aid Golden State tremendously.

The Warriors are not who they appear to be right now. As the season progresses, this team will continually improve and make a push toward the playoffs. When healthy, they have mismatches at every position except center. And despite the slow start, Baron Davis is still playing at last season's playoff level.

Barnes' Injury Scare

Matt Barnes sat out the Thursday morning practice with a sore and swollen left foot. The team sent him into Honolulu to take X-rays before the evening session. The X-rays showed no break, and Barnes will remain under observation the next few days. Barnes said if this were the regular season, he would have played through the pain, but the team is erring on the side of caution. "It's just frustrating, the little stuff that holds you back," Barnes said. "But it's better to have it now than have it come up later in the season."
