Good Q&A with Brett Hundley
Good little Q&A with our future super star.
Go Bruins!
Arizona suspends Josiah Turner
It looks like we got a little help for tomorrows game. Not that his numbers are great, but he was a starter.
Houston Spring Football - Highlights from the 2011 Spring Game
Highlights from the 2011 Spring Game. Just another click to get us pumped up for the season to begin! Go Bruins
Venoy Overton faces alcohol charge
Overton is suspended for Pac-10 Tourney Play. If Lorenzo has any honor left he will act accordingly. I have my doubts (see the cheap shot on Alfred's face). Having sex with two minors even if the age of consent in the State of Washington is 16 is appalling IMHO. Student athletes should be held to a higher standard because they are the face of the program in major sports.
Good Piece on Jet Ski
I found this piece on Jonathan Franklin very moving and fitting for what Thanksgiving is all about. Good work Shelburne. Go Bruins!
Pac-10 Bowl Predictions
Just came across the Bowl picks by Nick Daschel, and it got my blood pumping and boiling. If our offense can just start scoring touch downs! Things will be a lot better. Maybe I'm still on the gravy train but I just can't see us finishing with only 6 win's. Not if we start using our weapons on Offense and get some Red Zone TD's and clean up the penalties on Defense.

Poinsettia Bowl: UCLA and California are best positioned to get to six wins and land this crummy bowl. Both swept their non-league schedule and, as bad as they are, should pick up the WSU freebie. Cal has a better chance of finding an offense at some point this season, so we’ll side with the Bears. Pick: California
Jennifer Freeman: Engaged, With Baby In The Oven, To NBA Baller

I spotted this on the web and guess who the lucky guy is? One of our favorite sons, Our very Own Earl Watson! We are all happy for Earl here on BN! It would be great to see this kid in a jersey with those 4 Magical letter's. He seem's like a bright young man. We will have to se what happens, hopefully he makes the best decision for himself and his family.

Lute Olsen Steps Down as UofA Coach
I just heard on ESPN that Lute Olsen has stepped down from coaching. I think this is a good deal for the program. There was too much drama and it has been getting embarrassing for Arizona. I wonder who will be replacing him? Dunlap will take over for now. This news is really no surprise considering all that has gone down over there in that past couple of seasons. Either way this will surely change the standard. This according to Dick Vitale.
Go Bruins!
Hang in there Bruins!
Everyone hang in there! We will be in games like this all year.In the long run I think we will be able to look back on this moment in time and say it was all worth it.
It was a very painful loss, There is no denying that, but we improved on a few areas and not in some, being running the ball, passing the ball, and not being able to defend the punt return.
Overall, I give our Bruins a B- Today. While the effort was there, the Dog's contuned to convert on 3rd dows and that's really what has been and continues to be a problem.
Like Nestor has said, We should not give up on Walker because he really does not have the players that will make his defensive schemes shine as of now. We need to give him 3 more years.
Wasn't it nice to have Mr. Bell Back! Wow, if he can stay healthy, he will will give us a huge break with Kevin at the helm. With Wahington State coming into town next week, this will be a perfect time to gain some confidence, and come out swinging. In no way can we take this game as a "W" because how many times have we all expected a win and come away embarrased by WSU at home.
Keep your heads up and be proud to be a Bruin. Let me end these thoughts by using a quote from AA which can define these times and what the real goal should be, given what we have. "We're not trying to measure ourselves up against anybody else. We're trying to be the best UCLA Bruin team we can be."
Go Bruins!

Southern Cal @ Oregon State Thread
Bumped - OSU led USC 21-0 at the half
UPDATE: Troy burns in Corvallis. Final Score. Southern Cal 21 Oregon State 27:
Photo Credit: Jonathan Ferry/Getty Images (via Yahoo!)
I know people are watching this game! I haven't been this happy since the Tennesse game! I thought I would put this thread up so we could all give our opionions on the game! I can't believe the way Oregon State has come out and just dominated the Defensive line, getting pressure on Sanchez. This is just Great! What a way to spend a Thursday Night! Like they say"My two favorite teams are UCLA and whoever's playing USC!"
Go Bruins!
Go Beavers!

Vols starting DB, reserve DT suspended for opener at UCLA
Posted on CBSSportsline.com
"Tennessee starting defensive back Brett Vinson and defensive tackle Donald Langley were suspended for the No. 18 Volunteers' opener at UCLA next Monday."

I'm looking at my tickets and just can't wait to be Tailgating with all my fellow Bruins! I went to the CAL v.s. Tennessee game last year and all the Vol fans were extremely nice.. SO, I know we don't act like the ass clowns from across town, but let's just remember to be hospitable to our fellow football patrons.
Go Bruins!
Ben Olson leaving UCLA?
I ran into Pat and Joe Cowans Aunt and Uncle the other day and we got to talking of the game and how great it was. He told me that he has been a U$C fan forever and he couldn't believe he was rooting for UCLA. He had a UCLA hat on and USC sweat pants..Anyway's, he asked me what I thought Ben Olson would do. I said "well, I think he will be the starter and we will have a great and experienced back up." He thought that Olson would transfer to another school because he just wants to play in the NFL. He would not be the starter after what Pat had done against USC. I love Pat for beating SC and I will never forget those great runs he had. But, I know that Ben Olson has the potential to be a great QB, he has that RAW Talent. I think Pat Earned a Start against FSU,But after that Ben should get a lot of playing time against FSU. My point is he made me paranoid.. I really hope we don't lose Ben, my gut feeling is that Karl will make the right choice. What do you guys think?
Go Bruins!!
Seminoles, Bruins accept Emerald Bowl invitations
Im happy we get to play a "Winning Football School" Team this year. Better than losing to the Fresno ST's of the world who just embarrass us because we are supposed to beat them. Should be fun! Even though the Noles are 6-6, this is still a big game to win for us because of that reason. I know we have to believe that we will beat SC always. This is the first time in my life, when I truly believe we will get our buts handed to us by a more talented, better coached team in USC. It really pains me to. I have never felt like this about an SC game. Even though SC is supposed to be "Down" this season, they have found a rythem and we have not. The line is only 14 and I think that is very conservative. I hope they come out flat, and were on Fire. We need to have big plays and get lucky on Offense. We need Turnovers and Stops on Defense.. Trick Plays! I hope we dont run outside, because we won't get anywhere, We have to run it up the gut! 200 words...are we there yet?
Beat SC!
Rain/Snow In South Bend
I just checked the weather.com report for Sat. It says Rain on Sat. But I think it would be great if they played in the snow! It would be fun to watch. I feel good about this game. I hope we really stick it to ND! We can run on these guys, Chris Markey needs to have a big day!

Bruins in town for a Duck Hunt!
Go to http://www.addictedtoquack.com/ I posted a Diary there. It seems nobody post over there...Do you think my post is accurate?
Bruins in town for a Duck Hunt!
I will tell you why I think UCLA has a great chance for a Win this week. Our Backup QB is not tested, but knows our system better than Ben Olson. We are most likely going to open up our play book this week in order to establish the running game. I believe our OC had more faith in Pat Cownan than Ben Olson(only because of the play calling for the Airizona game). If we can have success down field than the Bruins will be in good shape to win. I believe that Oregon will be the best Offense that we have faced so far, but I also think that we can get to Dixon and if that is the case, it will be another long day for the ducks. The way our D Line has gotten to the otherside of the ball this year has been amazing! No turnovers will be key for both teams, espeacially UCLA on the road playing at loud and packed Autzen stadium. I will be there Saturday to root my troops on! Good luck and Whoever wins, I hope we both beat the snot out of U$C this year.
Go Bruins!
I hate Officials!
You don't know hwat would have happened in the last play of the U$C Washington game, because the Ofiicals blew it! They comein and stop the game and then start it and the clock runs out! We Beat $C this year!! I hate Trojans!!
Go Bruins! Beat The PusyCats!
Husky Stadium
I was at Husky stadium last weekend for the game, and I was thinking that I have not been to a stadium that loud since I was at Ohio State for the game a couple years back, where I remember a great and lucky play when Cory Paus's ball was tipped inside our own twenty and then picked up by one of our guys for an 80 or so yard touchdown! It was very loud! The win that was handed to the husky's on a golden platter ruined all of our weeks, but lets go chop some tree's and support our guys.
Go Bruins!
Vote for Ben Olson! National Player of the week!

Breaking Down the Pac-10(More Dorrel supporters)
This idiot (Adam Hoff) of Netscape.com, picked our boy's to finish 7th? Wow, if this is the case than I will never have looked forward to Basketball season soo much.
7. UCLA. The Bruins still have talent, but I can't see them winning more than four games in conference play. It isn't going to be easy to replace a starting quarterback, running back, and tight end. Especially when the coaching staff is among the worst in the conference. Sorry, but it's true. There are some amazing head coaches in the Pac-10, but Karl Dorrell isn't one of them. I see UCLA getting off to a 3-2 start before going 1-6 the rest of the way.
I know it's from netscape, but to put Oregon State and Arizona ahead of UCLA, even with our losses is just crazy. I am so excited about Saturday, I am going crazy!
Go Bruins!
Drew!!!
I watched the Jaguars game tonight. MJD had a couple nice punt returns and a few solid runs. He looks like he is going to be getting some playing time as a rookie! What happened to Marcedes Lewis?
