I know we have had a whirlwind of an off-season, and for the first time we have proof that we can dream big on July 1. Darcy has gone out and spent lots of money aquiring talent for us, doing a great job IMO. After trying to get anything for Kotalik and Morrisonn's contracts or sending them to Rochester I think it should be time to take our foot off the gas...

Over the last five games this kid has proven he belongs in the NHL. I think he has been our best forward and has the fire to go with his Connolly like hands. I just don't see how he could be sent back now, almost feels like Myers all over again....

I seen Ryan looking down to the ice in defeat again, but this time he is wearing blue and gold. Just seems like the Sabres are Team USA. Enough talent to win it all but just missing someting to put us over the top...

 So can we trust Lalime now? After 3 solid games in a row Lalime has quieted down lots of the bring back Marty talk. Is this who we are going to see for the rest of the year? Or is Lalime just the next streaking Sabre sure to fade for another long stretch? Regardless I'm glad that Lalime went down to the minors to get a couple games in. It seems to be the spark that he needed.

 So with the goal all set (hopefully) now its time for Darcy to get someone in here who can score or a power play quarterback. Then we could do some real damage come spring time. Gonchar from the Pens and Jeff Carter from Philly are a couple guys i'd like Darcy to take a stab at.

31 games in and still leading the northeast division. Balanced scoring, above average defense and a man on a mission in net. Loving this team more and more every game

the sabres are still humming along. Myers still looks good, Miller is leading the league in GA, Roy is hot.  If we get all 82 out of timmy and Miller stays healthy we should make the playoffs no problem. This team is much better already than what we had the last 2 years. A maturing Miller, Vanek and the return of Tallinder's game ( he was very good a couple of years ago) with good youth and Lindy giving some control to the vets. Last couple of years we got off to good starts but i dont think we were dominating teams like we seem to be doing this year. Well at least the weak teams we have faced so far, but they are dominating none the less. Love to see this keep going, Go Sabres! 

 Between the rookies, the vets brought in, and the maturing of the guys that have been on this team for a while....  It seems that we have a team that can get to and (oh my god don't say it) win the cup.  A goalie that wants to prove to the entire US that he is the guy, Greer and Montador coming in and instilling some toughness, Vanek, Roy and Stafford another year in the system.  And who could forget the young guys playing like vets. Myers and Kennedy earning there spots on the roster. This team seems to me so much more ready to do some damage. Can a cup  run and a much needed championship be on the brink for us? god I hope so...
