Kaegel spews some good Royal propaganda here. If only being "tough-looking" was measurable.

"Even less-followed teams with less-than-stellar records are represented on the site. Iowa native Will McDonald recently moved to the District but still keeps up his blog following the Kansas City Royals. To strike a common chord with fans, he writes short profiles of towns that have Royals contingencies. He's finishing his dissertation on 18th-century poetry but finds time to write two or three posts a day."

3D Seating Chart

Some things I noticed...

Section number wrap around rather than odd/left and even/right.
7 dollar Fountain Pavilion tickets.
Loge level??
Outfield Box over the bullpen will be nice.

MLJ’s AL Central Top 10 Prospects

1. Mike Moustakas, SS/3B, Kansas City

The #2 overall pick in 2007, Moustakas had very few 2007 at bats, but asserted himself nicely in 2008. After getting off to a slow start, he ended up hitting .272/.337/.468 in the Midwest League, which was a fairly tough offensive environment this year. Because he shared an infield with one of the best defensive third basemen in the minors, Moustakas played shortstop in high school. That will change as a pro, but it is uncertain whether he will play third base or right field. No matter where he plays, his bat will carry him to the bigs.

Braved the weather and the lines last night to attend the Town Hall meeting at Municipal Auditorium with Barack Obama.

In speaking of unity he evoked local sports, starting with the Missouri-Kansas rivalry. This brought a a strong reaction from the crowd, including a short session of 'MIZ-ZOU'.

Next he stated how we loved our Cardinals, to which he received a flurry of boos. After a short pause, he rescinded, "Oh, people here still care about the Royals?"

Most people thought this was funny but as a fan it was just yet another reminder of our place. Here's to change and the promise of a better tomorrow.
