give the fanshot about him being out this game because of back issues, which confuses me because he hasn't even really been playing and for a QB who hasn't been taking any real hits is having back issues raises a red flag for me.

obviously i would like to have a veteran back up going in to next year available but i would like to think that alex smith could be just that given he is not playing well enough to start.

so i'm not asking about nate davis or alex smith. i'm just asking do you think we keep hill on the roster next year?

would any of you be interested in mike leach coming in to be our OC and replace raye???

i know his offense is a lil pass happy but at the same time i would just like to see what people think of the idea, judging the things i'm hearing he might have a lil Mike Martz in him since he seems to want to listen to no one. i figured what the hell i might as well ask

UPDATE!!! i should rephrase this. i'm not saying to hire him now i think another year for the players sake under Raye is a good thing i'm saying just option A or B from scratch. hypothetically speaking of course, if it was Raye or Leach which would you rather have if he hadn't hired Raye yet.

I don't think there is much of a chance that Hill get back under center. I hope Smith can get it together. 

But the thing i'm trying to figure out is why do we talk about how nate davis isn't ready. so we should draft another QB next year.

So your telling me that if we draft a Qb next year the conversation won't be about how he needs to wait a year? i don't know how many are comfortable with starting a rookie QB that we would draft next year, over Nate who has been in the system for a year, ofcourse given Smith continues on his journey of underachieving.

So i'm getting sick of watching Percy Harvin, Ginn Jr, Sproles, Royal, amongst others return kicks for big yards or TD's.

This brings me to my question why the hell do we have a WR on the roster that was only known for returning kicks, all the while we are searching for a return man???

Seriously complain about whatever you want, O-line, QB, WR, RB, all the people starting i can't really argue with. i mean we can assume one QB might play better than the other, or why a O-lineman is playing instead of this or that one, but we can all agree the people returning kicks have been confusing as all hell, nor does anyone think that we have managed our return game properly.

Which brings me back to my question. Why is Spurlock on our team?

I just realized a few things.

We released Rossum so we could keep Ziegler on the practice squad, which lead to Sheets getting picked up off the practice squad. We then let Battle return punts and Walker who both fumbled (walker we had no TO's to challenge) and Battle multiple fumbles, one which people feel like costs us the game.

NOW, we lost Clements for a few games if not the season and we are left with what exactly? so basically this was all so we could keep Ziegler.

On ESPN I just saw that both being rookie coach's and both 6-0. Each of them are in search of being the first coach to reach 7-0 in their rookie seasons.

So,

Broncos (6-0) vs. Ravens (3-3)

Colts (6-0 vs. 49ers (3-3)

I think the Broncos can pull it off, I'm one of the few people here in San Diego that doesn't think the Broncos are a fluke.

I sure hope the 49ers can pull out a win but when Peyton steps on the field I can only hope for a performance like he pulled against the Chargers awhile back (5 or 6 picks)

Jesus what is going on over there! I'm already going to this game flying up from San Diego, so this will be my first home game this season.

When i looked at the schedule earlier in year i was thinking that i would be watching a dog fight, but look at these stats from yesterday.

Everyone is talking about QB's and O line. I think we should get onto another topic, because I think Robinson is worthless aside from ST. So with what i've seen from coffee and i know he is the punishing style (which i have yet to see) the coaches want, I really just don't see it yet.

Also everyone was asking that Sheets be moved up when Gore went down, and he obviously wasn't but my concern is Coffee got hurt yesterday and we had Robinson in which didn't matter because we were throwing every down anyway.

And lets be honest Coffee isn't much better as a pass blocker so which one is a better runner?

I like the idea of Sheets speed to catch the defense on their heels. is that just me, let me know?

this is what i've been saying.

living in san diego i learned about marty ball first hand it was the main reason the chargers lost that playoff game to the patriots, a few years back when they went 14-2.

you get up 7 or even 3 and you just kill offensive possesions and play defense. you think that our offense vanilla go look up the 3 and outs the chargers used to have. and no offense but the chargers offense i would say have more skill players than we do.

i wish i could find my old post were i was screaming marty ball. i knew i wasn't off with that but hey sucks to be right sometimes.

little did i know jimmy worked under marty, so there you have it folks. also i read another post stating that he doesn't want to go 4 wide? i mean come on we have like 6 WR on our roster why not have 2 FB's since we are going to run so much.

if we want to be like the steelers, how they run all game and if it comes down to it start throwing when need be. well we once again don't have the same skill players, nor do i feel like having the attitude that "ok lets run we are winning, oh wait we are losing lets start mixing it up. ok we are winning again lets run"

my concern is we will really see what jimmy is made of if we get into a 14-0 or 21-0 position where we need to get down the field. and i think he will just bank on the defense to close that gap which i think is a little narrow minded.

i don't even want to comment, aside from saying that he is better than our DE's maybe even justin smith, so why were we not willing to give up one of our TWO first round picks???

Hey Fellow Buck fans.

I spent yesterday with some family from Dallas, one of whom is a very well connected Mavs season ticket holder.  He golfs and dines with Mavs brass, and told me that there is a semi serious offer on the table between the Bucks and the Mavs with the main players being Michael Redd and Eric Dampier (expiring).  The general idea is that the Mavs feel they might be one more scorer away from contending with the WConf elite, and that the Bucks are ready for a total rebuild.
