Cincy Jungle Faneca or Bobbie Williams

I've talked enough already that I think Bobbie Williams is a little overrated.  But, in hindsight who would have rather saved the money we spent on Bobbie Williams and used it on Alan Faneca who is now available?  They are the same age.  I'm not sure how much we ended up paying Bobbie. I bet we could still get Faneca for the veteran minimum but I doubt Mike Brown is going to spend anymore money.... Any thoughts?

Cincy Jungle Draft picks are like a new car

A new car loses value as soon as it leaves the car lot.  I really don't understand why NFL teams value draft picks so much? It makes no sense to me. Groves for a fifth, Carriker for a late pick, Ginn for a fifth, Sheffler for a late pick, Boldin for a third? I bet as soon as any team picks a player in rounds 4 or 5 and then tried to trade him they wouldn't get anything for them. But for some reason prior to the draft the pick is like gold.  I don't get it.

Cincy Jungle miles austin for 1st and 3rd?

Dallas didn't franchise him. They will probably place the highest tender offer -- a first- and third-rounder -- If the bengals wanted to sign him to an offer sheet and the cowboys didn't match they would give up a first and third. I'm curious what peoples' thoughts are whether they'd rather have a young established Miles Austin or a 1st and 3rd round pick this year.  (andre smith and chase coffman last year)

Cincy Jungle Breakdown of the tiebreaker between NE and CIN

I found this on another site but it really clears up how the tiebreaker shapes up between the bengals and patriots.  Theres still a SLIM chance that both teams could win and the bengals would get the 3 seed

NE has beaten teams with a combined record of 65-85. CIN has beaten teams with a combined record of 60-89.

If both teams win next week:

NE will add 8 wins and 8 losses from beating HOU — 73-93.
CIN will add 8 wins and 8 losses from beating NYJ — 68-97.

NE will get 1 win and 1 loss from ATL@TB (beat both teams) — 74-94.
NE will get 1 loss from NYJ losing to CIN — 74-95.

CIN will get 1 win and 1 loss from CHI@DET (beat both teams) — 69-98.

In order of importance, NE needs to root for:

MIA over PIT (1 win for NE, +2 losses for CIN)
JAC over CLE (1 win for NE, 2 losses for CIN)
BUF over IND (2 wins for NE)
OAK over BAL (1 loss for NE, +2 losses for CIN)
TEN over SEA (1 win for NE)
CAR over NO (1 win for NE)
ARI over GB (1 loss for CIN)
MIN over CHI tomorrow (1 loss for CIN)
DEN over KC (1 loss for CIN)

In order of importance, CIN needs to root for:

PIT over MIA (2 wins for CIN, +1 loss for NE)
CLE over JAC (2 wins for CIN, 1 loss for NE)
IND over BUF (2 losses for NE)
BAL over OAK (2 wins for CIN, +1 win for NE)
GB over ARI (1 win for CIN)
CHI over MIN tomorrow (1 win for CIN)
KC over DEN (1 win for CIN)
SEA over TEN (1 loss for NE)
NO over CAR (1 loss for NE)

definitely favors NE; although if houston wins everything above obviously doesn't matter if cincy beats the jets

Cincy Jungle Brandon Johnson or Keith Rivers

When is keith rivers gonna make a play? sure he is solid but he doesn't even have a sack yet.  Brandon Johnson on the other hand shows up all over the field whenever he is in the game.  I still believe in rivers but he needs to be more aggressive. Whenever he blitzes he seems to slow down before taking on his blocker whereas brandon johnson tries to run through them.  Any thoughts? Who Dey!
