Born and bred on Long Island, NY. Joined the Air Force and ended up in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Met a Cajun and he fed me. He fed me things like boiled crawfish and something called Jambalaya and dirty rice. He fed me the deep fried garlic chicken and the BEST beef brisket po-boy EVER (from Tujague's). And I can't forget the beignets you get when you order a plate full of powdered sugar from Cafe du Monde. And if that wasn't enough, then he brought me to Mardi Gras, the Jazz Fest (best festival food EVER), and Da Dome. My life will never be the same. And I can't seem to get rid of that extra 20 lbs.
