Parking near Safeco?

Hi,

Sorry if this question is stupid.  What is the best place to park near Safeco?

I am a Taiwanese Mariners fan living in New Mexico.  I had watched several Ms' games when the team came to our neighbor states.  I am moving back to my country next spring.  I decide to visit Seattle and our home field before I leave the US.  (It will be the Yankee series this weekend.)  When I bought tickets from the team's website, I found the Safeco parking quite expansive so I didn't buy the parking ticket.  Could anyone point me to a place nearby Safeco where I can park with a reasonable price and just walk to the ball park?

Thank you very much.

Ichiro ----> HR Derby

According to this page:

http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/mlb/news/20080710-OHT1T00002.htm

Ichiro is going to be on the HR Derby this year.  That will be very interesting.  Since he hit a inside-the-park HR last year in the all star game, perhaps the HR derby can have a special rule for Ichiro this year:  a ball that hits the wall with some random bounce also counts as an HR.

Can anyone confirm this news?

Pitcher Abuse Points: Felix Hernandez

From BP, PAP ranking in 2008 season to date:

1. Gil Meche

2. Adam Wainwright

3. Scott Olsen

4. Brett Myers

5. Chris Young

6. Jake Peavy

7. Felix Hernandez

I am quite concerned about this.  In the last few games, Felix's command was wild.  This might be a sign of being tired.  For your reference, the pitch counts of his 8 outings are: 97, 97, 117, 115, 110, 115, 105, 112.  I don't like this.

Pictures from last Fri/Sat

Last week I drove 11 hours from New Mexico to Texas to watch Ms' games.  On Saturday, I met a family from Arkansas to watch Ichiro.  Unforunately Ichiro had a day off.  The little girl looked so frustrated.  Her dad told me that earlier this summer they drove to Seattle from Arkansas (quite a long drive) to watch Ichiro.  Guess what?  Ichiro had a day off on that day too.  I felt so sorry for them, and told them:  "Come to Seattle in October.  You will definitely see Ichiro play."

Here are pictures I took:

Dice-K vs Ichiro

I don't know if you guys had seen this before:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uDefoJ7hK0

Dice-K gave Ichiro 3 K when he first time faced Ichro at age 18.

In NBP, the two had encountered 34 times. 8 hits, 1 HR, AVG 0.235.  (How many K? At least 4 according to the video.)

watching ST games in Peoria

Hi folks,

Pardon me if the question is too stupid.

I am a Taiwanese fan now living in New Mexico.  I plan to go to Peoria to watch this Saturday's game.  I'd been to a couple of official games during the season but never a spring training game.  Besides the game itself, I wonder if there is anything fun out there?  For example, if I want to see the players practicing in the field, how early should I go there?  Is there any chance to say hi to the players?  Or even get some autograph?

Thaks!

some Ichro's defense plays in Japan

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNYROWl1WVg&mode=related&search=

First half of this youtube vieo is some of Ichiro's defense plays in Japan, and then with the Mariners, inluding The Catch.  His arm looked even stronger back then.
