ok, i know we all love Reby, and her passion for the Giants(real or not). but it's time for a new female face for our beloved big blue.
i give you, Tehmeena Afzai, a NY native, and hot Pakastani chick. here's something i came across that i think we can all enjoy...maybe this will relax us as we get ready for our biggest test of the year....round 2. enjoy!

So Who Did JR Really Miss in the 2009 Draft?
So I read Ed's article today, about Jerry Reese's 2009 draft, and the results thusfar. It made me think, did we really miss the boat on someone that year? So i took a quick scan of the '09 draft results, seeing if JR really did screw up and miss out on a big time, mid to late round steal, that has already shown superstar results. Now, while there were alot of promising players drafted, that may show there stripes this or next season, going off of memory of standout names, here's what i came up with.
We need to introduce Big Jake to the stiff arm
Anyone who knows me knows I love Brandon Jacobs' game. His passion, his desire, and his freakish set of skills that still, off a down year, make him one of the most feared opponents in the game. But there is a flaw in his game, and I want to break it down a little bit, to see what you think.

My review of yesterday's mini camp
I know I've already posted this in some of the threads, but it was suggested to me that I fanpost it, which made more sense. So if you've read it already, then ignore it, but if not, this is my synopsis of yesterday's Giants open mini-camp.

Gibril Wilson a Bengal
In case you missed it during this spin cycle known as the LT saga, Gibril Wilson signed with the Bengals, I'm happy for the dude, i think he's gotten a bum wrap these past 2 seasons, and he's actually on a team i can root for! Ironically, he'll be battling for a starting position with - Roy Williams!
pretty good Antrel Rolle highlight package here. He has a nack for racking up big yards after interceptions.
Take this for what its worth...
Was just listening to the Boomer and Carton show here in NY, and Craig said something that I've heard nowhere else. He said that he has an extremely credible source that said the Giants were in the running for Julius Peppers, and actually offered him a contract for MORE money than the Bears, but over the course of more years. Now, anyone in the tri-state area knows Carton says stuff to shock, and who knows how credible this unnamed source is, but that's the 1st I've ever heard of that, and although interesting, I am soo glad this didn't come to fruition. Peppers IS NOT a fit for the Giants, and although I like him, I'm ready to go to war with our current DEs. Yes, that means Osi too!
BBV gets nod in top 100 NFL blogs!
I read this over at the Ravens website, they were voted on there as well. They rate the blogs by division, and although i don't know if they are in order of greatness, we were ranked 2nd as an NFC East team blog, and 1st as a Giant blog. Just thought it was pretty cool, thought Ed would appreciate it too. Others are taking notice at how fine a site you run here Edward!
Well if he becomes a Giant great we don't have to spend money on renaming a street after him!
New overtime rules?
Didn't see this anywhere, so i'll up this link here and get some feedback. Personally, i'd be all for this rule change. i think the current rules are unfair to the defense, whereas we reward them during regulation for holding a team to 3 points, we penalize them with a loss for doing the same. This is a new and radical idea, and i wonder what you guys think.

Interesting interview by Amani Toomer on WFAN
Q: What’s the best conversation you have had with an opposing player on the field?
A: "The best conversation I ever had was with Brandon Jacobs. The whole fourth quarter of the game we were just going at each other’s neck, trying to find each other, even if the play was away, we’d try to find each other and bang heads and then talk right after. We were talking the whole time, just talking about what we were going to do to each other the next play – he’s going to do this to me, I’m going to do this to him. It was the whole fourth quarter, literally. We didn’t know each other well, but I liked it. I think he’s a tough player.’’
