For some reason, Werner--the true Most Interesting Man in the World--got confused and kept referring to the guys who put us as 9.5 point underdogs as "chickens." (Which I am sure will come home to roost right in my face tomorrow. Pray. For. Hoyas.....) Then again, he could also be referring to the grown man calling himself wipewipewipewipewipe on a sports forum. My prediction for tomorrow: Pain.

A friend of mine played intramural hoops at Princeton when JT3 was there, and knew a lot of the guys on the team.  The guys on the team evidently described Thompson as not instilling complete discipline, especially in conditioning.  I'm not sure that the conditioning piece has had any role that I can see (although I did seem to feel like DaJuan Summers bulked down after his freshman year).

 

Anyway, I like Thompson's tactics, but the team is so variable, and I think that has to come from him.  The thing you notice about teams like Syracuse (ptew, stamp) is that they are pretty much the same team every night.
