For those of you who don't have CSN+ (MDers)
I just checked my FiOS lineup tonight (Howard/A.A.) and the game will be televised on the NHL Network as part of HNIC. That would be Channel 587 if you're up here in my neck of the woods (HoCo). It will also be on channel 87 if you don't plan on watching in HD for some ungodly reason. Hope this helps, Go Caps!
I need 9 more words to post this, there!

And the winner is...
Me.
Apparently I was the winner for the Caps Mobile Fantasy Challenge for the playoffs. It was a drawing between myself and 3 others that had all accumulated 22 points during the playoffs. Somehow I managed to win the team signed jersey which is now on it's way to my house. This marks the second time I've ever won anything in my life, and the last time it was a glass piggy bank from Maryland Bank and Trust @ the Charles County Trade Show about, ummm, 20 years ago.
So now I'm shopping for jersey display cases, anyone have any good places to find one?

Clearly the phrase is gettin' around
"A highlight pass," Boudreau said. "That was a sick pass by Mike Green."

Semin's next contract
After reading the discussion about Nicky's next deal it became apparent that the Capitals are going to be in a bit of a "cap quandry" after next season. Semin, Backstrom, and Flash all up for Restricted Free Agency and all will be getting rather large contracts if they continue on the same development curve. Semin will make $5M next season and has played only one full season, 06-07, but is averaging 1.4ppg so far this year in 26 games played. How much do you give to an oft injured "potential" superstar? He has also shown a noticable unwillingness/inability to learn give interviews in English and has complained about living in the US, does he go back to Russia?

Memo to Guy Carbonneau: Keep your mouth shut
SovSport: The whole team played a very emotional game.
"We wanted to prove to Montreal that we must be respected. Here are Carbonneau's words that he said after the game in Washington three weeks ago "
Ovechkin pointed to a piece of paper that was put on the wall where Carbonneau's words about luck and not really testing Theodore were highlighted. And then Ovechkin added:
"What now? What will Carbonneau say after tonight's game? That we were lucky again?"
