I don't know if this post has a purpose, or a point for that matter, but I have a lot of thoughts running through my head and I wanted to share them with you all.

I don't know about everyone else, but I went into the game not really knowing how I was going to feel or what to expect from our organization for that matter.

Watching our Halos honor Nick before and during the game made me so proud to be an Angels fan. The outfield wall picture, the flags half mast, the patch, the jersey and the video they showed were all just material things that our organization did to remember Nick, but that's not what impressed me most. Torii running out to Center field and patting Nick's picture, Jared writing Nick's initials in the mound, hanging Nick's jersey in the dugout, seeing nearly every team member had some sort of NA34 on their hat somewhere touched me in a way I won't forget for the rest of my life. It showed that our organization is a tight family, there is no one person above another. They might go out there and play baseball as a team, but behind closed doors they live together in that clubhouse as a family.

Last night truly showed that our fans, our team and our organization are the best in baseball. I'm so proud that my mom took me to an Angel game when I was 6 instead of a Dodgers game. I'm so proud Wally Joyner waited for an hour after one game and signed balls for every kid simultaneously making me a fan for life. I'm so proud I got to know Nick for the four years he was with our organization. Most of all though, I'm so proud to be a member of the Angel's family.

We'll miss you Nick, but we'll always be proud that you will forever be an Angel.

Peavy to Cubs?

There are swirling rumors all over Philly that Peavy is going to the Phillies for minor league pitchers and in turn the Phillies would trade Peavy to the Cubs for Mark De Rosa.

The move covers the Phillies butt in case Utley doesn't get back in time for the season opener at second base as well as hints that they'll be putting De Rosa in left and not be offering Burrell a contract.

Once again, this is just a rumor...but it sounds like it is close. The only thing that I haven't heard about is the fact that the Cubs want to off Marquis in the deal too to make room for Peavy's salary. There are probably some loose ends still being tied up.

Just thought I would pass it along.

C.C. Nickname

Does anyone have a good nickname for C.C.?

I have been solely referring to him as "The Hamburglar" because he reminds me of Bartolo Colon. I dubbed Bartolo Colon "The Hamburglar" a few years ago because it was completely within the realm of sanity to hear a story about him “running around a McDonald’s and stealing everyone’s hamburgers and then jamming them down his throat.”

All of this C.C. talk is taking me right back to where I stood in ‘03. I think Bartolo would be honored and he looks great in black and white…

Favorite Angel of all time?

Just out of curiosity I'm wondering who everyone's favorite Angel is of all time...

This doesn't need to be tied to stats or anything, but a story of why would be great to read while I'm sitting here at work doing nothing

I'm a young fan, so mine is Francisco Rodriguez. The main reason being the 2002 series...Seeing this young kid come out there and stare down people who were 5-6 years his elder with this look that would have made inmates cry was one of the greatest memories as a halo fan and something I still talk about today
