I am a father of three amazing children currently ages eleven (girl), nine (girl), and five (boy). I have the great fortune of being married to my most favorite person I know. :) When I am not at work, I am usually juggling all three kids soccer schedules, or my oldests basketball schedule and most recently, my little guys t-ball practices....busy, busy, busy!
Like everyone else here, I am a HUGE Wildcat fan. I grew up and currently reside in central Ohio, but had family around the Pikeville, Ky area. When visiting as a kid, I always heard stories about the great tradition of Kentucky basketball and of course how Adolph Rupp was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Over the years the stories stuck with me until the Unforgettables came along and became the first Kentucky team I really fell in love with. Those guys are closely followed by the '96 Cats that won it all. To this day I will debate with anyone that they are the absolute best team in NCAA history. I do conseed that (1) I am highly biased where this subject is concerned and (2) others whose UK knowledge extends way further back than my 33 years probably saw teams just as good or some may feel even better. That is one perk of following UK, there is no end the great teams to fall in love with.
Anyways, besides family and UK, I am just a sports junkie in general. Basketball, football, tennis, racquetball, volleyball, or softball, you name it if I can find the time I try to get out and play something whenever possible. Well, that's me in a nutshell.
GO CATS!

Tyler Brause....this kid can flat out play!
Tyler Brause continued his outstanding play Friday night by rackiing up 5 touchdowns for his Wynford Royals HS football team.
Brause showed the versatility that he is going to bring to the Wildcats next year as he ran for 149 yards and one TD, threw for 120 yards and three scores and to top it off returned an interception 65 yards for another touchdown.
For those with little (and i'm sure this is most of the people on this site...lol) knowledge about north central Ohio high school sports let me say it's a fair statement that HS football is king. Basketball does get a fair amount of pub but most of the attention is given to Friday night football when nearly entire towns turn out to watch their teams play.
Having said that, I can safely say I've watched a fair amount of HS football and I'll tell ya, Brause is a hell of a ball player. He may not come to Lexington next year and be the second coming of Tim Tebow but barring something completely out of left field UK has got themselves a very good recruit joining the team next year.

Another stellar game for UK recruit Tyler Brause
Quarterback and incoming UK recruit Tyler Brause led his Wynford Royals HS team to another victory Friday night running their record to a perfect 5-0.
Brause played six possesions spanning the entire first half and the first possesion of the second half and was 13 for 13 thru the air with three touchdowns and ran for two more scores.....not a bad nights work!
Behind Brause and fellow soon to be Wildcats teammate Teven Eatmon, the Royals are currently ranked sixth in their region in the state. Can't wait to see these guys in UK uniforms next year.

GREAT first game for two UK recruits
Kentucky recruits, quarterback Tyler Brause and tight end Teven Eatmon both had big nights as their Wynford Royals HS football team trounced River Valley 55-0 in their season opener.
Brause threw 6 touchdown passes and connected on 10-13 passes for 197 yards.....in the first half while teammate Teven Eaton caught 2 TDs including a 36 yard snag.
Since the Wynford school district is pretty close to the district my kids go to it will be interesting to follow these kids this year. If all works out, I've already got a few Friday nights circled on the calender where I'm going to try to go watch them play. If I make it to those games, I'll keep everyone posted on how they do.

Kentucky vs. Ohio State
Can anyone tell me what UK's record is vs. OSU in both basketball and football or where I can find that information?
Thanks a ton!
