16 year old phenom from japan. She won her last match by first round submission. I will be following her career carefully. She is currently 3-0 and i'm sure has another fight lined up in the next couple of months. Once she gets a few more wins i hope bellator will sign her. I wonder if you have to be 18 to be signed in the united states? Anybody know this? Definitely someone who could be champion someday being this good at 16 years old.

I can't see either team losing next week so this is the bowl game that will happen. BSU can't escape there WAC roots. lol. Is it a done deal that they are in the big east yet? Is byu going to. You all heard about the new plan after 2013. The BCS will only put the #1 team vs the # 2 team in the nation vs each other. All other bowls can negotiate with any team. There will be no AQ or non AQ's conferences anymore. It's not set in stone but it looks like it has the backing of the majority. The SEC of course loves this b/c they think they can get both there conference champions in the BCS title game. Maybe? Doubtful?

He played a very good game vs the Detroit Lions. He threw the winning Touchdown pass. The San Francisco 49 ers are 5-1 and they look like a playoff team. I think Jim Harbaugh has helped Alex Smith with his confidence level. I sure hope the 49 ers can make a run in the playoffs and if not this year maybe next year Alex Smith can lead them to the Super Bowl. Good Luck to the former Utah Ute.

It just came out that USC's leading rusher last year had some disciplinary problems lately and he might have to accept the responsibilities of his actions. They are also having injury problems on the offensive line and they were already thin there because of graduation and early departures to the NFL. They are also having a few injury problems on the defensive line of the ball. The story i read on ESPN said they will be counting on a few freshman to step up. The quarterback behind Matt Barkley is a redshirt freshman that was highly touted but does not have experience. Motivation could be a factor too for the seniors since they know now that that can't win the Pac-12 South Division and will not be going to a bowl game for the second straight year. The University of Utah plays USC in the second game of the upcoming season and if Utah can pull that game out on the road i think the Utes have a chance to get to 10 wins including a bowl win. If they lose it could be 7-5 or 6-6 season. Its a very pivotal game.

Two female MMA fighters will be the first females depicted in a video game called Supremacy MMA. Those two ladies names are  Felice "lil Bulldog" Herrig and Michele " Diablita" Gutierrez.. The game will be coming out in September and  it will work with Xbox360 and Playstation 3. It will feature the likeness of both  fighters and there fighting styles. On another sad note Chyna Doll(the wrestler) just made a porn movie for Vivid Entertainment. Its called" Backdoor into Chyna" and its supposed to be a nasty threesome with the two biggest male stars that Vivid Entertainment has.

Never seen his comics so i have no idea what they look like. This will be a permanent ban on this site. We will have 2 days of getting rec's and whoever has the most wins. I also want someone in the powers that be to make sure no duplicate accounts like "wooly shambler" get there rec's counted. Anybody who does not have at least 400 posts on mania does not count in the bet. I can name numerous duplicate accounts b/c i look at everybody's profile who comes at me and if i have never heard of him before, they don't count. If that's the case, its a deal.

I think not. It's a known fact that Jackson does not like fighting wrestlers. He rather stand and bang vs his opponents. His last two a opponents have been Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida. Against Evans he lost the fight b/c Evans is the better wrestler and he beat Machida  in a close fight but Machida's fighting style does not make for an exciting fight for a guy like Jackson. I can't see him being pumped up or excited to fight Matt Hamill. Hamill is another wrestler that will make for a pretty boring fight imo. I expect Hamill to win a decision unless he gets caught. I know Hamill will give 100% but i don't think Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will.

For me it would be Roy " Big Country " Nelson. On the TUF show he came across to me a little cocky like he knew he was going to win it. Now i know it was just confidence on his part. He really was alot better than anybody on that season. He also hanged with JDS and took alot of punishment. Plus his knockout of Struve was fast and furious. My opinion of him has changed 180. His upcoming fight with Frank Mir could be an exciting fight to watch. In all the interviews i have seen him in he seems really nice and down to earth. I have never met the guy but if anybody here has is he really like that?

Both Stanford and Oregon are in the Top Ten. They have Utah at number 21.They have Arizona State at number 23 and they have USC at number 25. That would make 5 Pac-12 Schools in the top 25. That means that the Sporting News thinks the Utah Utes will win the Pac-12 South. They did mention that Utah would find no UNLV's in their new Conference. This is good news for Utah College Football Fans. I hope Kyle Whittingham and Norm Chow can use this as a sign that Utah has arrived nationally with a top 25 ranking while  in an AQ Conference.

I will do the Pac-12 first. Stanford and Oregon are both in the top ten. The real surprise is Utah is ranked 21st in their poll. Then we have ASU at 23 and USC at 25. All together 5 Pac-12 teams. So i guess the Sporting news has Utah winning the first Pac-12 South Division.  The MWC had two teams with Boise State at #6 and TCU i think at 17. This is the first time i have seen Utah in any top 25 preseason rankings. They did say that Utah won't find any UNLV''s in this conference. Still i'm glad to see my favorite college football team at #21.

Ever since the UFC bought Strikeforce some things have already changed. One of them is the former WWE champion will not get his chance to even get one fight in the cage. To me its a good decision because i am getting tired of WWE wrestlers coming into mixed martial arts and competing. I see Mr. Batista is in his mid 40's and most likely would have been a clone of Bobby Lashley and been a fighter who just gassed out alot. I wonder what the Zuffa exucitives will do with Herschel Walker? He looked alot better in his last match and i think they might give him one more fight just to see what happens. Anybody agree?

Now that the University of Utah has named their new coach how do we think he will do? If the Athletic Directer is smart they would give him 3 years to rebuild the mess his predecessor caused. He has brought in one new asisstant and i hope he cleans house. Anybody who wants to transfer just get rid of them. You don't want to be there he should just let them transfer. I like a coach who gets his own recruits because then he rises or falls on his own merits. I hope Mr. Krystkowiak is the man to fix Utah Basketball.

When this fight happens this Saturday night on April 9th 2011 i believe we will have fireworks in the first round. There is no doubt in my mind that Diaz will stand and bang with Daley for at least the first round. I only expect this fight to go two rounds with Nick Diaz winning by submission in the late second round. When Nick Diaz addresses the media he will say he pushes the limit every time when he fights and this is the result of skill and heart. I think Diaz will avoid(any big strike)  and frustrate Daley just like Koscheck did to him during his fight with Daley. I also think Diaz will be asked did Daley even clip you during the fight. His response: no pain, no pain. EPIC WIN. This little paragraph could also be used for the GSP vs Jake Shields fight. Mr. Shields with epic win also. He also pushes the limits.

Today Mr. Lesnar was on Sportscenter on ESPN talking about the upcoming reality show, his fight with Cain Velasquez and his upcoming fight with Junior Dos Santos. He was very calm and articulate. He was also asked about Jon Jones and had nothing but praise for the young man. The interviewer said would you ever fight him? Brock said he would have to move up to heavyweight but "I take all comers". He Said it in a very calm voice. Now we have seen Lesnar in the octagon and get a little crazy vs a couple of fighters. There was the foam and spit coming out of his mouth at the end of one match and he kinda rode a fake horse (his dance win i guess) vs another fighter. He also pissed off a few advertisers and Dana White had to tell him to apologize. I must admit i threw Mr. Lesnar under the bus after his loss to Cain but i'm know back riding the pain train b/c Lesnar is now a +105 slight underdog vs Santos. He even said he would have to win the fight vs JDS on the ground. I think the man is stable and will win. Anybody disagree?

Both these guys slammed the selection committee when VCU was announced in the first four. VCU has proven again (along with Butler and others) that mid majors can compete at a high level. They have certainly changed their tune on ESPN. Now they are saying what great guards VCU has and what a good big man that VCU has. Plus they are saying the coach of said team is one of the best and that he will get a great offer from some big time university. It's been a great march madness and no number 1 or 2 seeds made it to the final four. First time that has ever happened. VCU odds at the beginning of the year were 2500-1. So if you put 5 bucks on VCU they would win you 12,500 dollars. My guess is there was probably one person who went there or is still at the school that bet something on them. I really hope Virginia Commonwealth University wins it all. They deserve it.

We have UFC Fight night coming up for free on Spike TV this saturday and the main even is Phil Davis vs A. Nogueira. I personally think Davis will win this fairly easily with his take downs. I would give it an 80% chance he wins the fight unless he leaves an arm out for Nogueira to submit him. They just waived Mirko Cro Cop and it looks like Wanderlei Silva is happy running a gym in Las Vegas right next to the Panorama towers.The only one left standing will be Anderson Silva who will be carrying on the Pride (fighters) legacy in the UFC. I also personally feel that Shogun Rua will never be the same after his fight with "Bones". It's what i call a spirit killer kinda fight. Anybody disagree?

She is said to be unhappy with Strikeforce and lack of competitve opponents(or any opponents). She also wants to raise her profile in the United States. I really have nothing wrong with that plan. She probably would be a good addition to the WWE and then we could see Gina Carano win back the Title. Then when more of the country knows Santos they could have a Superfight in a Strikeforce Event. That is what might be taken place behind the scenes. Anybody agree?

They did, who could take the punch better in the stomach better. The bar patron went first and hit Bisping with all he had. Bisping did not flinch much. Then Mikey hit the bar patron in the stomach and he went back a few steps. They repeated the same thing again with just about same results. The guy i'm sure was intoxicated but i'm not sure what Bisping was drinking. I'm guessing he does drink after his fights. I'm not good at providing links but it's on the frontpage of TMZ. It's worth a chuckle. I want Chael Sonnen to fight this guy next in England.

12 fights and i'm taking 7 underdogs b/c at UfC 126 only one  dog came in and he was a +105. My favorite fight is George S. vs Dennis Siver. I think if George wins it, it will be 7 straight wins in the Octogan. I like Penn at +160 moneyline and Rivera at +300 moneyline. Rivera needs to back up all the smack talk and videos he has been making about "The Count". I'm hoping Bisping is really angry and makes a mental mistake that Rivera can capitalize on.

Very Entertaining first episode. I'm sure the government is quite embarassed by the actions of their former federal agent. That guy came across as just plain clueless about everything about the game. Worse was him wearing that off-pink underwear. It 's obvious who the first three off of Rob's team(the federal agent and the woman with the idol and francesca) are going to be. Francesca was the first voted off to goto redemption island. My favorite player Russell helped the other tribe win. He already has one of the ladies he needs and by next week i think he gets another and finds the hidden immunity idol. Sorry i'm not good at names but it looks like a few of the guys(on Russells team) have there eyes set on voting Russell of first but we have seen Russell in action before and i think he gets a few others on his side and just manipulates as he as always done. Definitely on Team Russells side. I thought everything was good about the first episode except for the what "ifs" about past contestants if they were to make it on redemption island. I hope they only do this for this week. I'm surprised nobody is doing the Survivor article's on this blog this year. Russell added a tattoo. lol.

February 16th 2011. The journey which is "Survivor" will have it's new season begin this Wednesday. Now that Russell and Rob are both going to be on the show this will make me watch this entire season. Redemption Island is a place where you can be voted off but still have a chance to get back in the game. Another new twist to the game. I would guess there might only be one immunity idol for the entire game or maybe none at all.

I was checking on some of the blogs on  here and noticed that VTF has not had a new article posted on it's blog in 6 weeks. No fanpost comments for awhile and there last poll had 12 votes and then it closed. Could it be our friends to the south "VTF" blog has gone belly up? College football is my favorite sport but MMA is second and they just closed 2 MMA blogs in the last 2 weeks and 1 boxing blog. Anybody got some answers about this developement?
