I was tempted to call this "Tony Gonzalez Group Therapy"

The Falcons came out strong early and looked to keep the game close but a few hiccups have slowed them down. Their rushing game has looked strong but the youth of Matt Ryan seemed to show as he threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. He responded well and led the team down into field goal range but Elam whiffed.

Been pretty active so far....let's keep it all clean :)

According to an industry source, the team considered releasing Johnson — who has a history of misbehavior — but was cautious of the precedent it might set. The Chiefs didn't want to send the message that, if a player wants out of Kansas City, all he has to do is speak out or act up to get his way....It's not out of the question that Johnson has played his final game with the Chiefs, and the next week will go a long way toward determining what happens next. Johnson is being watched.

Alright, AP....I had the thought that I am sure many of us attended the game today, even though we failed to have a successful AP-Tailgate (And Chris failed to let me in the pressbox). I wanted to make a forum for some of us to share our experiences today and gauge the feeling of the place and such. What were memorable moments to you? Where did you sit? etc.

I'll start. My partner bailed on me late last night so I had to fly solo today. Got in Arrowhead at about 920. Got a great spot just inside Gate 4, nice...Made some rounds in Lot C (saw a former teacher...weird). Went in to the stadium early and to talk with Haley very briefly. Also spoke/got autographs from Mays, Belcher and some others. I like the new ribbon board a lot. It is quite different than the "Bingo Hall" look of the former screens. My seat was in section 324 row 2. So basically I was on the 49 1/2 yard line and right on the inside edge of the upper level. Pretty awesome view...I highly recommend it. Memorable moments for me were when Cassel did the sneak for the 1st down early and got up and was so pumped....the place definitely appreciated it. Also, the last defensive series, that place was rockin. We definitely did all we could to help the boys out. Good game day. I was/am worn out from it...

Your turn...

Bernard Pollard out. Chiefs GM Scott Pioli thought he might get a seventh-round pick for him, but no one stepped up. The waiver-wire pickup of tackle Ryan O'Callaghan continues to show how dissatisfied Kansas City is with its incumbents on the offensive line.

Jackson, this year’s No. 3 overall pick, said he’s no more than 40 percent comfortable or ready to meet the Chiefs’ high expectations. He said the only cure for the time he missed, which occurred while his five-year contract was being finalized, is more time. More time with his teammates and coaches, and more nights studying Kansas City’s playbook.

Whitlock again comes across as a man who has no idea how the regime is operating. Completely ignoring the teaching process that is happening, and obviously being successful, with Dwayne Bowe. Thanks for the laughs, Jason, return to your buffet.
