RUMOR: JASON FERGUSON DONE FOR YEAR
If this is true, it's a tough break for one of the leaders of the defense. It's also a tough break for the Dolphins because his postion was the one lacking any depth.

Rumor: Ronnie Brown out for year?
Ronnie Brown out for the year? According to Mike Florio at profootballtalk.com. The Dolphins fear Ronnie could be done.
The first time I heard the Dolphins feared he had a signifacant foot injury I immediately thought of the L Word. If this is true, then it would be the third time that I can think of the L Word has struck the Dolphins. Both Donald Thomas and Ted Ginn both missed time with a Lisfranc injury. Lets all hope this is not true and Ronnie comes back soon.

OFFICIAL "I'M OFF THE BANDWAGON POST"
It's been 5 days, and I'm still not over the Saint's game. I've been going to bed at 8:00 every night with the help of a Tylenol pm. In the words of Emmit Smith, we got "DEBACKLED". This is my official vent on players that I have officially given up on.
1. Ted Ginn
I will admit that I initially thought Chad Pennington was holding Ginn back. But I see now that it is Ted Ginn holding Ted Ginn back. Ginn is a dog with no bite. Let me put it this way. If Mike Vick was the coach of the Dolphins, Ted Ginn would be in the trainers room, strung up by his balls, hooked up to Randy Starks' truck. ENOUGH SAID!!!
It's not just the dropped pass. It's the rounding off of routes and the lack of GO GET IT he shows.
Having a strong safety playing free safety is a problem. But having a strong safety WHO CANT TACKLE playing free safety is a CATASTROPHE!!!
3. Pat White
Confession time again. I was a big Pat White supporter when we drafted him. I thought the possibilities were unlimited. But now, when Pat White enters the game, one of two thoughts permeate my consciousness.
PAT WHITE
A. REALLY???
OR
B. WHY???
4. Cameron Wake
I know I might be alone on this one. But hear me out. My jump from Wake is only temporary...I HOPE!! I know everybody was high on Wake after the Buffalo game, myself included. But my frustration with Cameron Wake can be summed up in 2 words...
SPIN MOVE
Or any other move besides the "I'm gonna run aroung the outside and meet the quarterback 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage". Lets face it. Not every quarterback in the NFL is gonna be like Trent "Semi-Pro" Edwards. Most pro quarterbacks know how to step up in the pocket. Until he learns another move, I am off his bandwagon.
These are just my random thoughts. Feel free to agree or disagree.

BREAKING NEWS:FELONY CHARGES AGAINST STARKS DROPPED
The felony charges against Randy Starks have been dropped but the misdemeanor charges of culpable negligence have not. I think after the facts came out we all knew some of the charges were exaggerated so I'm glad Starks doesn't have a felony hanging over his head.

Dolphins Draft "Smart"
According to Dave Hyde of the sun-sentinel the players drafted by the dolphins scored close the highest, per their respective positions, on the wonderlic.
I guess this makes the Dolphins choices "smart".
Maybe this means the front office places just as much an emphasison intelligence as athletic ability.
The quicker they learn the playbook the quicker that can start reacting instead of thinking on the field. This should help them make a quicker contribution to the teams success!!!

Misinformation, Unnamed Sources and Finxfactor's True Identity
The NFL draft is upon us folks and the one thing we know for sure is its time for misinformation aplenty. Whether it comes from team officials or the ever popular unnamed source one thing we know is not to believe any thing we hear and read. Teams trying to hide their intentions will leak untrue information to various reporters who in the name of getting the scoop will report it as truth while knowing otherwise. Maybe there are perks involved for a team beat writer to assist teams in getting their message out. Or, maybe the beat writers are actual fans of the teams and don't mind giving a helping hand. But whatever the case I hope you all took the unnamed sources with a grain of saslt.
But speaking of unnamed sources, I have one who just happens to know finxfactor personally and he shared this home video with me!!!!
ENJOY.

Patriots and HGH
Here is a little story I ran across oline. It seem that Patriot, and former Dolphin linebacker Larry Izzo is a potential witness in the Barry Bonds trial. Here is the link right here.
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-bonds-list14-2009feb14,0,794419.story
In my mind this goes beyond Larry Izzo. Remember Rodney Harrison, he got busted for HGH also, but he was just using it to rehab....lol. And what about all those over achieving linebackers on their roster. Remember Mike Vrabel. He was nowhere near the beast he is now. I remember watching a Pats game and hearing how all the announcers talk about how huge he was. No-name offensive linemen who play at a high level, check, they got that too. Maybe that's why they "draft so well", especially when it comes to "the big uglys".
And to top it off. everybody's glamor boy Tom Brady isn't all that clean himself. I remember his number came up in Greg "I'll never tell on my BFF Barry Bonds" Anderson's cellphone(or vice versa). His story was he was going to be in the area at the time and was looking for some trainer to workout with and somebody recommended Greg Anderson(or something to that effect). Then there was a feature on ESPN's Sports Century about after Brady"s rookie year Bellichek told him he had to get "bigger, stronger, and faster" if he was to stay in the NFL. Cue Greg"I'll never tell on my BFF Barry Bonds" Anderson.
Basically this story has been overlooked. Maybe its because of a lack any definitive proof of widespread proof or maybe there just are forces at work protecting the NFL's image and its glamor boy, BUT IT SMELLS FISHY TO ME!!!!
