I have no idea if this is common practice for UFC events, but Esther Lin of MMAFighting.com captured an interesting sight on Saturday night. UFC staff painting over the blood already on the canvas, prior to the main event airing on FOX.

Business as usual? Zuffa simply wanting to put their best foot forward? A warning sign that FOX may not be fully embracing all aspects of the sport? What say you?

Nolan Ryan: Forefather of Dirty Boxing?

MLB.com has video up of the infamous brawl between Texas Rangers Hall-of-Famer Nolan Ryan (46 at the time) and former player and now manager of the Chicago White Sox, Robin Ventura (26 at the time).

Just thought some fight fans who may've been too young to remember this, would appreciate it. Score one for the old guys.

It appears Stephan Bonnar has moved on from his "Trash Talkin' Kids" t-shirt line, with a new endeavor called "Punch Buddies". First up, is this sure-to-be-controversial Melvin Guillard "Young Assassin" number. Shocking? Funny? Corny? What say you? Larger version here.
