IF our offense starts executing. Would love to see more screens and slants, and a steady diet of Michael Bush. Fortunately, Bush just got a first down on a big fourth down call, so we still have fighting hope. Let's go, Raiders! < NEGATORY. We didn't make it! Aaargh!

And also, let's hope to see some good stuff out of Jason Campbell to justify our investment in him.

Marc Spears had a good article this morning on the Warriors #1 pick of 1986, Chris Washburn, and his long, painful road to get to the point where he's supposedly clean.

Unlike Len Bias (second from left in the pic above), Washburn didn't drop dead, he just frittered his skills and his career away. But I'm glad he's still kicking and it looks like he has his life together now. Here's the article link.
