It's never to early to look forward to 2010, so I;m going to make a fanpost about the Cubs starting second basemen for next year. We all know that Jeff Baker has been putting up great number since, well, thew beginning of August. He's hitting 321 with a OPS over 800 since then, and he can play several infield positions. But should the Cubs trust him enough to make him the starting second basemen for next year? Will they be making the same mistake they did with Fonty if they do?

KU's Receiving
I got in a fight with my brother today about receiving in the NCAA. I said that it wouldn't be crazy to say Kansas could have one of the best receiving teams in the nation this year. Last year, they had two 1000 yard guys (Briscoe and Meier), both of whom returning, and a third receiver who I think could surprise a bit (Johnathon Wilson). What do you think?

Daryle Ward and Norris Hopper were traded from the White Sox to the Nationals today. So bored on an off day.
Looks like Mark DeRosa has tagged along on the little mustache thing the Cards have going on. I'm terribly sorry for saying this, but seeing him like this just makes me hate him more and more every day. I personally think it looks terrible.
