Still think Vince was right choice. Kerry is a great BACK-UP like Neil O'Donnell was to Steve. Vince just needs a little seasoning like Steve did. Absolutely thrilled about the season so far. Think we could get to 10-0 before next challenge. Hoping for the best.

Fisher? Has the time come?
OK, I have been a Fisher supporter since day one all those years ago, just like most of you. But just like OJ being chased through the streets of L.A. (same year as Fisher's introduction as coach), the story has outgrown itself. Up until last year, he has given us very little to complain about; only inconsistency which, quite honestly, was the only thing consistent in Houston. Now, we enter 2-3 solid years of "Why did he do that?". I have numerous concerns about the general strategy, play-calling and personnel decisions made by the coach with the longest active tenure in the NFL and am starting to see the cracks in that illustrious run. Maybe the streak is about to be over and maybe, just maybe, it's time...
Picture Help
Does anyone have a picture of VY holding up CJ at the end of the Jags game? If you saw it, it was hysterical and I would love to post it and share. I dont know if it made the TV coverage, but it was very evident ot the game. As time was expiring and we were in the "V" formation, CJ turned around and jumped up onto Vince and it looked like a Father/Son scene out of some sick Titans montage. Let me know, thanks
Clay Nation- Crap Fans
Tuesday night, my last night for listening to "Clay Nation", I tuned my radio to Sirius NFL for the same old boring rundowns. I was a usual listener to Clay Nation but when I heard it was trash the Titans night, I nearly ran off the road. I am from Clevelend (and still hear mutterings of "damn yankee" even though a Nashvillian for 12 years now). I grew up in and around a town that ONLY had football. We were tried and true Browns fanatics...and they really sucked. The post Kosar/Belechick years there were very glum with the grumblings of "the drive and the fumble", BUT we were still fans. We complained, we moaned, we literally hurt from the misgivings of our team and, yes, I actually saw tears shed when they left. It was never the same, even with the "new Browns". We stuck together through all the bad publicity, the horrible decisions and losing seasons...many losing seasons...but we were fans.
I moved here in 07 and was pumped to hear about the Oilers move to TN. I had always been around a football town and relished the thought of a renewed passion for some hometown joy that the city really needed. They came, they kicked butt and arrived in the Super Bowl the first real year of existence. A couple bad seasons since and hear we are on the heals of a magical season with a geriatric QB, a slim receiver core (pre Washington and Britt) and an absolutely incredible backfield who actually appreciate each other. Our defense was awesome too...Now, I hear, amidst the national media hanging us out to dry, a LOCAL show bashing the wheels off of the team!!! THAT CAN'T HAPPEN!! These players, who are hurting both physically and mentally, hear enough crap from the national stage to put any us into a pre-suicidal (Sorry Vince...lol) tailspin. They literally count on local support and HOPE of the fan base even though the season appears to be offline. I had a buddy back in Cleveland who played, even though 3rd string and a special teamer, and he used to grab a six pack and hang at my house. He refused to listen to the National media and only turned on local stations for an up tempo boost of moral. Now, with the brilliance and complete Know-It-All attitude of the Clay Nation geniuses (more specifically-Clay Travis, ATTORNEY (really?)) whom I don't believe ever donned a pair of shoulder pads, these palyers can be bashed locally too. Great job guys, Hope the ratings sucked...I will however tune back in for Overtime, at least they are fair in the handling of the down plighted fan. The fans do need to vent, both here and on radio, but the host job, in my small and usually ignored opinion, is to keep the homefire's burning and burning bright for our young and easily downbeaten players and other fans. Keep the fans...well, fans. We fought and kept a not-so-hot Preds team, we have begged for a MLB team and World Cup Soccer. Well, lets hope if anyone considering Nashville as a new home, sports-wise, doesn't accidently tune to Clay-Nation.
When will Fisher Get Credit For 1st Round Pick
It's funny to me that no one in the national media has mentioned the criticism Fisher got for picking Johnson in the first round of the draft. EVERYONE (including alot of local media) was so critical of Fisher for "going too far out on the limb" and picking Chris Johnson. "an unknown, an easy round 3 pick", "why pick this guy when your receiver core is so weak", I actually got sick of listening to what a bad move Fisher made on draft day. Obviously (as usual) the "intelligent" media didn't do the homework that Jeff did. What do ya'll think.
