Check out the three ppoint shooting numbers for BRoy, holy crap! As well, Blake's FT% number makes you think that he loses focus against the poor teams. And it seems that the assist flow better against poor teams, which is to be expected.
What this showed to me, more than anything, is that Roy makes bad teams pay, and in a mean, nasty way. I believe Quick would describe it as surgical.

So im really bored and don't feel like finishing my final essay, so i did some searching and found this page curtesy of 82games.com. Some interesting stats:

POR starters average least amount of TO a game, POR bench averages fourth most per game.
POR starters and bench average 2nd most points per 100 possissions
POR starters average the least amount of minutes, POR bench averages the second most
POR starters average the 2nd to last amount of boards a game, bench averages the most.
POR starters average the 3rd to last assists, bench averages 7th best.
POR starters average the 2nd fewest points per game, bench averages the second most

I thought it was interesting anyways. What a nice luxury POR has with its bench. TO stat might be be becuase of minutes played, though its probably because of BRoy and LA.

Brandon has Batum's Back

http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2008/10/no_way_around_it_batum_being_c.html

This makes things very interesting. I do like the idea of keeping the second unit intact and Rudy and Sergio have some undeniable chemestry about them. Plus if the blazers braincorp thinks its the right move, and BRoy is behind the idea, then its gotta be worth a shot. I wonder how they are going to do the rotations out though, becuase i wouldn't think it would be a full five man switch. What it means is that once again, KP deserves a hell of a round of applause. And thank god SA didnt get him, that would have made the west soooo much harder.
