Samuel Willing to Slash Earnings to Help Trade Him
"Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel might be willing to shave as much as $2.5 million off his earnings for next season to facilitate the team's efforts to trade him, according to a Saturday report in the Philadelphia Daily News."

Michael Vick will miss his second straight game with broken ribs, the source said.
Already knew this is happen, but here is the official word.
Tentative NBA labor deal reached
NBA owners and players reached a tentative agreement early Saturday to end the 149-day lockout and hope to begin the delayed season on Christmas Day.
Neither side provided many specifics but said the only words players and fans wanted to hear.
"We want to play basketball," NBA commissioner David Stern said.

Should I trade Fred Jackson for Drew Brees? I'm starting to get fed up with Vick, my league has two starting QB slots, and my QBs currently are Vick, Tebow, and Schaub. My RBs are F. Jax, Shady McCoy, Ray Rice, and DMc. Should I try and trade Rice instead?

Wideout DeSean Jackson missed a meeting yesterday and was told he would not be in uniform for today’s encounter with the Arizona Cardinals at Lincoln Financial Field, a source close to the situation told the Daily News. A team source confirmed the news.
More bad news for DeSean. Sucks to see what is happening to him, Jason Avant will start in his place.
UPDATE: Jackson apparently overslept causing him to miss the meeting.

I am 7-0 and ranked first, but I am getting outscored by the second ranked team (6-1) and the third ranked team (4-3). I think this could be because of my lack of overall receivers. Which RB should I trade to the second ranked team (who needs RBs, pretty good WRs including Mike Wallace and Greg Jennings)

Calvin Johnson Trade Offer

Hey so I just got offered Calvin Johnson for Ray Rice. I think I should accept this trade, but just wanted thoughts before I go through with it.

This makes it so I could start up to 3 RBs at one time, or 3 WRs at one time, but not both at the same time. Anyways, should I do this trade? If I do however, his RBs will become AP, MJD, Ray Rice. Thanks!

K David Akers- I know he missed those kicks in the Packers game, but he was going through a lot at the time, and was a great kicker this year. He was a ProBowler, and except for the Atlanta game, didn't really make any mistakes. Must re-sign him.
LB Stewart Bradley- I say we should let Chaney be the starting MLB, and then move Bradley to the outside, instead of Sims. Re-sign him.
G/C Nick Cole- I don't think we should re-sign him. He didn't play that great this year.
LB Omar Gaither- He really only played special teams this year, and we really don't need him for line backer. Let him walk.
RB Jerome Harrison- I think we should definitely re-sign him. He was a pretty good back up. He had the 50 yard run in Washington, and played pretty good in the Cowboys game. Must re-sign him.
CB Ellis Hobbs- It's been rumored that he is going to retire after his second season-ending neck injury. He was replaced in the middle of the season by Dimitri Patterson at cornerback, who, besides a few games, didn't really play any better. Ehhh... release him.
G Max Jean-Gilles- I think that we should keep him. He could be a good backup. Re-sign him.
LB Akeem Jorden- I don't know. He was a starting LB, and now he is just playing special teams.
DE Bobby McCray- Release him.
S Quinten Mikell- We HAVE TO RE-SIGN HIM! He has done GREAT this year, and to some regarded the best safety in the league. Must re-sign him. However, if we do choose to let him go, a viable replacement is FS Michael Huff.
CB Dimitri Patterson- I don't think we should keep him. Besides the Redskins game, he really didn't do well in any other games. We need to get a new RCB via free agency or draft.
P Sav Rocca- Re-sign him.
LB Ernie Sims- He played horribly this year. I don't think we should have ever gotten him. Release him.
QB Michael Vick- ProBowler, SuperStar, was in the MVP race for a while. I do think Kolb is good, but Vick is elite. We must keep him, and it's been said we'll franchise him.
G Reggie Wells- Was a backup with limited action, didn't really do much. Release him.
Roethlisberger broke his nose.
Eagles Looking to Move Way Up?
Derrin Horton of NFL Network, who's stationed at the Eagles' headquarters this week, reported that there have been discussions of the Eagles moving up as high as the fifth overall pick, which is owned by the Kansas City Chiefs, or 10th overall, with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brent Celek "irked" at latest Keith Brooking comments
"That kind of irked me a little bit," Celek in reaction to Brookings' recent comments about the Eagles on ESPN's Matt Mosley radio show.
"I don't think they knew exactly the plays we were running when we were running them," Celek said. "You know, they played better than us in those games, and I'll give them credit. They did do a good job. But for him to say that, I totally disagree with him . . . I tell you what, I can't wait to play him next year."
Celek was asked what he'll say to Brooking when he sees him.
"I can't say that on radio, guys," Celek said. He would say this: "Every time we went down there, you see him trying to get the crowd riled up on that big JumboTron. It gets me going. I can't wait to play him again."

Are the next two games against the lowly Redskins and the struggling Falcons must win? I think they are. The schedule for the rest of the season is
The Redskins, Falcons and 49ers look to be easy games, but the Giants, Broncos, and Cowboys are going to be tough. If we win the three easy games we'll finish the season 9-7. We need to win the easy games and win at least one of the tougher games in my opinion. I think 10-6 might be good enough to win the division if you look at the Cowboys schedule: Really their only easy game is the Skins. If they drop 4 out of 5, they'll finish 9-7. How many wins do YOU think we need??

Hey guys, I am an Eagles fan, so you probably hate me, but i have a question that you guys might know the answer to. I was reading this article and it said that there are a couple teams interested in moving to L.A. The Skins are one of them. Are they really even considering moving to L.A.? If they do, won't it mess up the divisions (but then again, i guess not, since DALLAS is in the NFC EAST.) Thanks.

Ok, could someone please explain this to me?
I was reading about how the Eagles are going to use so much in the "wildcat" formation. Then, next article i read, was about Vick in the "wildeagle". When i went to the Eagles website, the poll said who should be used most in the "wildeagle?" Are they the same thing? Are they different? If they are different, could someone please tell me how? Thanks.
