Uncle Fester is Back
Unfortunately, unless this is a temporary move until they can sign Dipenta to a pro contract, it looks like we won't be seeing him anytime soon. Ducks have recalled Brett Festerling to replace the injured Andy Sutton.
Ducks Sign Beleskey to Extension
Looks like the Ducks see Belle as a somewhat permanent NHL-level fixture as they have signed him to a one-way two year extension.
Ducks ship R2 to Atlanta
Ducks traded Evgeny Artyukhin to the Atlanta Thrashers in exchange for minor league defenseman, Nathan Oystrick, and a conditional pick.
The move doesn't seem to do much for the Ducks other than get rid of R2's $1 million contract.
Blackhawks Wave Goodbye to Barker
So much for trading Wiz to the Hawks for Barker. Anyone have a plan B?
Toskala said he did request jersey No.35, the former number of Jean-Sebastien Giguere, but for obvious reasons was denied. He will wear No.36.
Dan Sexton Reassigned
It looks like the Giguere trade might be bitter, sweet after all. Due to the fact that the Ducks acquired Jason Blake, it looks like the Ducks are demoting Big Sexy. The Ducks also recalled Justin Pogge, but no one gives a crap about him.
I wish the Ducks would have demoted Bodie instead, but I guess the Ducks felt that Blake was displacing Dan Sexton.
Wild Claim Ebbett off of Waivers
Not sure if anyone cares or not, but looks like Andrew Ebbett can't catch a break. After only ten games in Chicago, the Blackhawks decided to waive him. Hopefully he'll have better luck in Minnesota.

Also, am I the only one who is still mad that the Ducks waived Ebbett to begin with? As personally I would much rather have Ebbett in our lineup than Nokelainen.
Ducks Recall Sharp
The Ducks have recalled MacGregor Sharp from Bakersfield due to the injuries to Koivu and Carter.
Ducks Recall Beleskey
The Ducks have recalled Matt Beleskey.
