Has anyone out there noticed how lack luster our kennel club is this year? For the past three games I have sat directly behind the kennel board and in each game I have seen terrible leadership. First of all, who is leading the cheers? Because I think they are confused too. Throughout the games I"ve witnessed confusion be strung across the face of GSBA members in relating cheers to the kennel board. Where is A.J., who was always so good at ensuring there was no one sitting down? Now I see kennel board members sitting down not, not jumping, or even encouraging fellow students to be the loudest crowd in the nation. It’s really sad that there is not leadership. When the fight song comes on, there are no kennel board members participating, but  rather just standing or sitting there. How were they elected?

In fact several of my friends have started the cheers where we are sitting, 3-4 rows up.  Multiple people have suggested that the good old buddy system needs to be removed since much of the people who reside in the first two rows are roommates, buddies, and often intoxicated. Where are the representatives of Gonzaga, where are the zags? Surely, someone else has noticed this?

Okay, slipper still fits, lets get excited for the women!!!! Since a lot of people look here for game recaps and any information about the men's team this would be the perfect place to display info about the women as they enter the sweet sixteen. Seriously, they have a great chance of advancing into the elite eight. We have the best point guard in the nation and a great coach!!! This is the peak time for our women's program when the men's is rebuilding/reloading (whatever it is). This site does a great job engaging the Gonzaga fan base so it would be awesome to see more information regarding the women's competition, and the odds of them going deeper into the tournament. Maybe, our women will be the next Baylor or Stanford, you never know.

Coach few was just on Jim Rome's show on ESPN around 1:30pm today. If you'd like to watch the interview I am sure you can find it on espn. Jim and Coach few  talked about how laid back steven gray is and discussed past and present teams including this weekend's matchup. They also talked about the impact of losing 4 starters last year and how the team has done this year.

I'm sure someone has said this in a previous post, but Bol should be playing more minutes. If Mark Few wants to mix things up after a terrible and slow game against duke then maybe he'd start Bol occasionally to build upon his experience. Finally, I just want to say thanks to the people who are posting on here and updating this blog. As a current student who is highly involved in our basketball I really enjoy reading about the recruits and following the links. good job.

So i'm sure someone has brought this up before, but if the lakers win the NBA championship this week then adam morrison will get a championship ring. I doubt the magic are going to come back from 3--1 so it is more than likely that adam will. I just wonder if he'll stay at the lakers for long since he has not played much this year. What do you think? Did leaving a year early affect his NBA career?

I know this is early, but March is just around the corner. I assume some of you on here are members of the Kennel Board. Do any of you know what the process of ticket distribution will be like for the WCC tournament and around what time we can expect this to happen? I'm already planning on going and need to be making travel plans accordingly. I know a few people who are just as curious as I am. I'd love to give them some information about it.
