Music City Miracles Coming from out of town - advice please and thank you!

Hey all, im from Ottawa, Canada and me and a buddy are planning on coming to town for the December 9th Thursday night game vs Indy to celebrate my 21st. Neither of us have ever been to Nashville (or an NFL game for that matter!) and I just had a few questions that maybe you guys would be able to help me out with

1) Tickets - where would be the best seats for us to buy our tickets for? I was looking at the NFL ticket exchange website and there are seats for sale pretty much anywhere we want...I was thinking of maybe getting seats in the first couple rows of the endzone, but maybe there are better seats elsewhere?

2) Hotel - if anyone could recommend a hotel thats somewhere near the stadium, or the downtown bar area (or preferably both...not sure how close the stadium is from the bar scene?)

3) Bars - best bar to go to on a Wednesday or Thursday night (for reference: were both early 20s, so somewhere with a young university crowd, preferably somewhere that does not have a reputation for having a lot of fights or trouble, as we're coming to have fun, not for bar fights lol)

4) Tailgates - not familiar with the local tailgate routine before games!

5) Any "must see" Nashville tourist spots, as we will most likely flying into town the day before the game, so we would like to do the whole Nashville tourist thing as well.

If anyone would be able to help me out a bit here it would be much appreciated! Im super pumped for the trip, I always figured I would have to go to Buffalo for my first NFL game since its fairly close, but to be able to actually make the trip down to see the Titans at home, in primetime, versus the Colts, cant really get any better! Thanks a lot for any info you would be able to pass along, and hopefully I'll run into some of you while we're there!

Music City Miracles Trading Lendale?

Just some food for thought, or hopefully to spark a discussion during this dry spell of Titans news leading up to the SB. What do you guys think about the Titans possibly trying to ship Lendale out of town for some additional picks. If so, what do you think we can get for him? There's no question that Lendale thinks he can be a starting RB in this league, and one year ago had just finished a season where he rushed for 15 TDs, and he has also rushed for 1100yds before. He only has 628 carries over 4 years, so there isn't that much wear and tear on his body, and at 25 could still be a productive runner for somebody for a number of years. Personally, I think the MOST we could expect to get in return for a guy like him would be a mid-low second rounder, and at WORST a low 3rd rounder. (In total, somewhere between pick 48-96). Perhaps packaging Lendale with another pick (4th or 5th rd) to try to move up into the second round would not be such a bad idea. Im sure it won't be too difficult to find a guy who can spell CJ for 50 carries a year, and our defense could sure use a 2nd rounder back there. What do you guys think? Is this something the Titans should consider?

Music City Miracles Chris Johnson Named Starting RB for AFC

Pro Bowl rosters have just been announced and, rightfully so, CJ has been named the starting RB for the AFC squad. This is definitely well deserved after the best season by a RB in recent memory, maybe one of the best ever. Here's hoping this gives him a little bit of extra motivation on Sunday to get those 234! (or at least the 128). CJ2K on the way! Link to full rosters after the jump.

Music City Miracles Smash & Dash Highlight Package

Just another highlight video of Smash & Dash to pass along. I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to see what CJ can do with a year experience under his belt, and Lendale at about 30 lbs lighter than normal. This is going to be a fun season to say the least! For the first time since the days of McNair, Mason, & Bennett I'm actually excited about watching the Titans offense with confidence they will give some defenses trouble!

2 more days, let the towel stomping begin!

Music City Miracles Finnegan Gets Some Love

Cortland Finnegan gets some love in Bucky Brooks' rankings of the top corners in the league. He comes in at number 5 on the list behind Nnamdi Asomugha, Champ Bailey, Asante Samuel, and Darrelle Revis. Hopefully he only moves higher on this list this season!

Music City Miracles Brandon Marshall requests trade

I know questions about our WR corps have been beat to death, but with Brandon Marshall officially asking for a trade out of Denver, should/does Tennessee go after him? What would it take to land Marshall, one of the top young WR's in the NFL? I'm thinking at LEAST a 1st & 3rd. I know the odds of the Titans going after him are very slim, but just imagine our WR lineup consisting of Marshall, Washington, Britt, and Gage, it would jump into the top third of the league instantly.

Music City Miracles You have GOT to be kidding me...

Check out Pat Kirwan's initial power rankings, notice you have to scroll through 9 other teams before you get to Tennessee at number 10. While a good case can be made to put some of these teams ahead of Tennessee, there is no way in hell we should be at 10. Ranking teams like the Colts, Falcons, and Chargers ahead of the Titans is just ridiculous.

All things being equal though, Fisher and crew seem to relish the role of underdog, so maybe another year sliding under the radar wouldn't be such a bad thing...

Music City Miracles So long, Amon

Amon Gordon was claimed off waivers today and is headed to Philly. The Eagles claimed Gordon on a day they also signed ex-CFL'ers Byron Parker and Charleston Hughes. Gordon saw action in 2 games this year with Tennessee, recording 6 tackles. We wish him good luck in Philly & just pray this D-Line move doesn't cost us the way Mookie Johnson did! (that one still hurts).

In other news to fill 75 words, I still hate the Ravens & Steelers.

Music City Miracles Official Titans-Canada Crew

Can't wait for the Monday nighter! Will be watching it all the way up here from Ottawa, Canada on TSN (our espn)! Supposed to have class that night, but no way in hell I miss this one, university is over rated anyways ;-) . My best bud is a Colts fan, and admittedly, he's had the better end of the bragging rights the last few seasons, but that all changes this week. See you all at 7 and 0!
