sup Steeler nation...i was just curious if anybody else read the Wall Street Journal today.there is an article about the Rooney's shopping the Steelers for 1.2 billion.i was totally taken off guard when my boss showed it to me.

my first thought was to have the city of Pitt buy the team so they could run it like Green Bay does.

i got a nice chunk of savings to throw down  = )

Has anyone else noticed that every 3-4 years the Rooneys actually pony up some bucks for a big name free agent?I know is sound like madness....but that is how we got Bettis and Farrior.After all the cuts that go down this year....i'm thinking Tuman,Faneca,Haggans,Krieder....just to name a few,that could leave us with some cap room to go out and get another future Steeler retiree.anyone have there eye on anyone?
