I think we're all pretty jacked to see Medlen gett the call this week so we can see at least one of our pitching studs in the rotation.  As a Braves fan, I'm really anxious to see his debut.

As a fantasy player, I am wondering how long the Braves will keep him up in the rotatoin (assuming he pitches well)?  Any ideas?  Has the organization mentioned what they're plans are for him, or is this a short-term solution till Glavine makes his debut?

I don't have a higher waiver spot to use on him, but I don't necessarily want to waste that on a guy who is only going to get one or two starts.  Any advice?

Can anyone remember the name of the Virginia player that knocked Chris Weinke out of the remainder of the 1998 season?  I remember it being a severe neck injury, and the team briefly feared paralysis.  It more than likely cost FSU the NC vs Tennessee that year, but I cannot remember who it was.  I thought it was somebody who ended up playing in the NFL.  Thanks for your help.

Joe Schad immediately threw out Jimbo's name as the replacement to Rich Rodriguez, despite the new title of "Head Coach-in-Waiting."  Guess his new contract with us would come with a $2.5M buyout, so hopefully that deters them from pursuing him.

Allegedly he was going to be in line for the job last year had Rich taken the Alabama job like everyone thought he would.

I'd like to hear some of y'alls thoughts on how you think we'll fare the rest of the way.  Before last week, I thought we would finish 2-2 in our last four.  I knew there was no way that we'd lose to BC, VT, and Florida, and now we know that we won't.  Do you think this team can duplicate last week's play?  Not just how well they played, but how smart (much fewer penalties than usual) and mistake-free they were?

I am really jacked for this weekend's game.  I know the atmosphere in Blacksburg will be rockin, and I hope we can rise up again.
