As predicted Tony "No BS-ing" Stewart was fined today for his little 'cow poo' remark on Sunday. Also as predicted, he was found guilty as charged under the catch-all Section 12-4-A (Actions detrimental to Stock Car Racing ...) of the NASCAR Rule Book.
He lost 25 Driver points, was fined $25,ooo and Joe Gibbs was also fined 25 Owner points. This is pretty consistent to what Dale Jr was fined after his 'poo' remark back at 'Dega a few years ago. One exception though is that Tony is paying $15,000 more. I guess, as Jaynelle points out, "he got fined the extra $15,000 for the word 'bull'".
So much for those bonus points he wanted to get for winning races.
