Come See the Nets, You Got Nothin' Better to Do

Are you unemployed and living in the New Jersey area? Do you need a break from your exhausting days of doing nothing? Well, then come on down to the Izod Center in East Rutherford and watch the Nets play basketball. It’s on the house: ↵
↵⇥Starting today, the New Jersey Nets are asking fans to e-mail them their résumés. They'll forward them to the club's 150 sponsors. ↵⇥

↵⇥In exchange for the job applications, the club is giving out free upper-level tickets to one of five games, starting with the Nov. 22 tilt against the LA Clippers. ↵⇥

↵
↵See that? The Nets are here to help you find a position with one of their many valued sponsors, such as Dunkin Donuts, JR Cigar or Goya. People always need coffee, smokes and beans, especially during an economic downturn. Really, this is a truly great way to help the community and is in no way a ploy to get butts in the normally empty upper level seats to see two bottom-feeders square off. Although, there are probably better ways to spend your unemployed time and money than watching hoops and blowing seven bucks a pop on beer.↵
