Steve Phillips Loses ESPN Gig Over Production Assistant Affair

Last week, Steve Phillips and his Brooke Hundley-related sexual escapades very nearly made the Internet explode. Steve Phillips is no longer working for ESPN. His ability to be an effective rep of ESPN has been significantly & irreparably damaged.

Whether that punishment is fair or not, the ramifications are clear: No more Steve Phillips on ESPN. I have a feeling most viewers won't miss a beat, except for the vague, placid peacefulness they feel when they tune in to SportsCenter this winter and don't see a single staged press conference.
