From halftime of last night’s Sunday Night Football game, here are Ray Lewis’ comments about the incomprehensibly soft roughing the passer call that went against the Ravens, followed by Rodney Harrison doing what he does best: being kind of a jackass:

For those without video-watching ability, Lewis’ comments:
↵↵↵It’s embarrassing to let a defense player play his heart out, do everything he can, and you call something like that? Wow. Then you look at the replay and it’s barely a touch? He’s a man. They can be hit just like us. That’s it. It’s not hard.

To which Rodney Harrison said:
↵↵↵Horrible call. Can’t make this call. And Tom Brady, if you’re listening, take off the skirt and put on some slacks. Toughen up. [Jackass smile]

Lewis’ comments are spot on. I think we’d all agree it was an awful roughing the passer call. Harrison’s insults of Brady, however, are a bit odd considering Brady isn’t the one who called the penalty. See, that’s what the officials do. You’d think Harrison would’ve learned that at some point during his career.
