Greivis Vasquez, Wind at His Back, Laughs at Memphis' Strength of Schedule

↵Ronald Moore ain't the only fellow with a double order of onions. Mercurial Maryland enigma Greivis Vasquez talked some trash about Saturday opponent Memphis' Conference USA roots in comparison with the Terps' ACC. ↵
↵⇥Asked about Memphis, Vasquez said during a question-and-answer session: "Their conference is pretty much questionable. They don't have tough games. But I still believe they're good." ...
↵⇥
↵⇥"They'd have a losing record in the league -- probably win all of their games outside the league, losing record in the league," he said. "The ACC is too tough. You can't just win games night in and night out because you're so athletic." ↵
↵The Tigers looked a bit ... relaxed through the first 3/4 of Thursday's opener. I have a feeling their mood will be different when Vasquez brings the ball up this afternoon.
↵
↵By the way, the ACC is 3-4 through two days, with losses to Paragons of Toughness like Cleveland State (a 13-seed), Wisconsin (a 12-seed), Michigan (a 10-seed) and USC (a 10-seed). I hear an "o-ver-rat-ed!" chant coming on. (Anyone know of a safe house in which I can stay until the end of Maryland-Memphis?)↵
