Keenan Lewis
6'1, 198 pounds | Oregon State | Cornerback
Strengths: A four-year starter at Oregon State, Lewis has good size for the position and matches up well against taller receivers who aren't especially fast. Lewis likes to press receivers at the line of scrimmage and uses his quick feet to turn and run. Plays with some intelligence and can read the ball well in mid-air. Solid hands for the position. Broke up 30 passes and intercepted nine during his career.
Weaknesses: Lewis' lack of top speed could make him only a target for for zone teams. He doesn't have great quickness either and struggles at times to recover. Likes to get aggressive and will be beaten. Grabs when he needs to recover and will get called for penalties. Very poor as a tackler. Lacks tackling technique and functional playing strength. A non-factor against the run.
Final word: There's a lot to be said about being a four-year starter on a Pac-10 school, but Lewis is a deceiving player. He has good interception stats and good size, but he doesn't have good speed and is a poor tackler. Had a solid week at the Senior Bowl. Named honorable mention All Pac-10 as a senior. Started 45 games in his career.
