The day after the NFL draft, someone is going to come out with a list of top prospects for the 2011 draft. People will be excited and look forward to seeing those names called in the first round next year.
The only problem is that some of those projections can be a little off.
OK, way off.
Last year, Sports Illustrated rated Greg Hardy as the No. 1 available prospect in the 2010 draft.
1) Greg Hardy/DE/Mississippi: Hardy gave serious consideration to entering April's draft but made the right choice staying in school. He's impacts the game in a variety of ways and possesses unlimited potential.
Not so much. Hardy went 174 picks later to the Panthers in the 6th round.
