Nashville Flooding Pictures: Cumberland River Invades LP Field

New, comments

Nashville has been walloped with over ten inches of rain in the past 48 hours, a deluge resulting in massive flooding across the city and surrounding suburbs. This includes downtown Nashville and the Riverfront area, the neighborhood surrounding the Titan's home at LP Field. Courtesy of the floods, it now has convenient boat parking--really, really convenient boat parking.

The Titans' practice facility is also in danger, 1st Avenue downtown is now open for jet-skiing and recreational fishing, and readers of Music City Miracles are posting pictures of backyards full of overly friendly local rivers. Stay as dry as possible, Nashville: Chris Johnson can walk on water, but he can only take one of you at a time. (And even the street leading up to his house is underwater.)
