Former Duke Basketball Player Greg Paulus Headed To Saints Camp

Greg Paulus -- most known for his four-year career as Duke's point guard -- has been invited to the Saints rookie minicamp.

↵

Paulus was a highly rated quarterback coming out of high school and even transferred to Syracuse for a 5th year in 2009 and became their starting quarterback.

↵

Paulus stepped in and played immediately for the Orange, passing for 2,024 yards and 13 touchdowns with 14 interceptions. He played for Doug Marrone, who previously was the offensive coordinator under Saints coach Sean Payton.

More than likely, Marrone asked Payton to invite him to camp. His chances of making the team, along with the vast majority of rookie camp invites, aren't very good.

Let's just hope this guy isn't a Saints fan if Paulus makes the team.
