The soon-to-be No. 1 pick of the 2010 MLB Draft has most likely ended his amateur playing career on a very sour note.
↵Seventeen-year-old baseball phenom Bryce Harper was ejected from his first tournament game earlier today while playing for College of Southern Nevada, according to Bob Nightengale. Harper was ejected for arguing a called third strike:
↵↵↵It's official. Bryce Harper is suspended for 2 games, meaning that he very well may have played his last amateur game.
↵
So what happens now? Harper sits and waits for Monday when his name will most likely be called by the Washington Nationals as this year's No. 1 draft pick. And then he has the tough duty of accepting a boatload of cash.
↵It's a hard life, but now and again you have to argue that third strike call.
