Today we call on Ole Miss alums, season-ticket holders and students to do the right thing and vote for the land shark. (And then maybe pass along the image above to the people at your school to make sure this thing is done right.) ↵
↵↵The good news: The race has been trimmed from 10 candidates to five and the land shark survived the first cut. Your other choices in the final five: a horse, a lion, a bear and Hotty and Toddy. According to AP, Hotty and Toddy could be "Muppet-like characters" that embody Ole Miss' signature cheer. No one wants that. You know what you what? A land shark. ↵
↵↵Besides, if you vote for Hotty and Toddy, I'm guessing these two freaks will be the first duo to apply for the job. ↵
