Turns out Dave Kahn was almost-certainly bringing in Ridnour to replace Flynn, who will be missing some significant time due to a nagging hip injury. According to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, Flynn is expected to miss quite a few months of the 2010-2011 NBA season with a hip injury.
