2010 PGA Championship: Second Round Play Suspended With Leaders In Clubhouse

Play has been suspended in the middle of the second round of the 92nd PGA Championship. It was halted at 8:30 p.m. ET.

More than half the field needs to complete their round tomorrow before a cut can be made to the top 70 and ties. Among the players that walk off with positive momentum is Rickie Fowler who is -3 on his second round.

Tiger Woods has to feel fortunate for play to stop. His round was falling apart at the horn, including needing a ruling on the type of ground he was on. Woods will have to regroup if he hopes to finish 36 holes under par.

The leaders, though, are almost all in the clubhouse. They will be able to sleep in late tomorrow, which is quite different than the turnaround from last night to this morning. Some of those players complained of sleeping less than 5 hours. That won't be the case tomorrow.

Coverage of the championship continues at 11 a.m. ET tomorrow on TNT and switches to CBS at 2 p.m. ET.
