Reactions To Redskins-Bills: Washington's Rookies Impress, Buffalo Defense Very Vanilla

Hogs Haven liked the way the Redskins' rookies played Friday night, though they are tempering some of their enthusiasm with "it's just the Bills." That goes more for the solid Trent Williams than the occasionally spectacular Brandon Banks.

The undrafted rookie showed the explosion that we have been lacking in the return game since as far back as I can remember. I can’t say we have ever had a player with this type of speed on our football team (maybe Darrell Green). He looked excellent on punt returns. His 77-yard touchdown made others around him look like they were running in quicksand.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Rumblings analyzes the Bills' defensive tactics and tries to make heads or tails of new defensive coordinator George Edwards' 3-4 scheme.
