Tyson Alualu Finally Agrees On Five-Year, $28 Million Contract With Jaguars

The Jaguars announced on Sunday that they had agreed to terms with 10th overall pick Tyson Alualu.

One problem with that announcement: Alualu hadn't agreed at that point.

But agent Kenneth Zuckerman told the Associated Press the proposed deal had not been approved.

"We're close, but my client has still not signed off on it," Zuckerman said. "I think they're just excited. That's all I think it is. I think someone jumped the gun."

According to several reports, Alualu finally agreed to terms on Monday morning.

Per Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com:

Alualu FINALLY agrees to terms on 5 year, 28mil w 17.5 guar. He wanted to discuss w family and sleep on it b4 accepting

The Jaguars started camp last Friday.
