So the bad news is that it is clear that Anderson Silva will remain sidelined for the rest of 2010 after injuries sustained before and during his bout with Chael Sonnen. The good news though, is that the UFC will not keep Vitor on the shelf waiting for the champ to heal up. Vitor has only had one fight since returning to the UFC, a knockout of former middleweight champion Rich Franklin in the first round at UFC 103. By November Belfort will have been on the shelf for over a year, it's time to get him back in the cage and competing in the 185 pound division (the bout with Franklin was a 195 pound catchweight fight).
