This, of course, comes as no surprise to anyone who saw last night's home plate collision, but Indians catcher Carlos Santana is going on the DL:
Indians placed C Carlos Santana on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left knee.
That sprain is still an initial diagnosis, as the results of his MRI are not yet known. What's important is that (1) Santana will get at least a bit of a break, and (2) it seems, by some miracle, he managed to avoid a severe injury.
