Jason Campbell Has A Wrist Injury That's 'More Significant' Than Stinger

Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell left Sunday's game against the 49ers with what was described as a stinger. That alone is no big deal for the long-term.

However, Jerry McDonald of the Contra Costa Times reports that it's a wrist injury that they're worried about.

Quarterback Jason Campbell has a right wrist injury that is more significant at this point than his stinger. It happened on the series previous to the one in which he was injured. He’s had an MRI and X-rays and Cable said it will be evaluated this week.

The Raiders don't open the season until Sept. 12 so he would have time to recover if it's a minor injury.
